From the very first moment there was a spark, a fleeting but undeniable surge of attraction, and a shared sense that we wanted to know each other more deeply. Little did we know that what began as a simple connection a dating app would set us on a path of love and adventure, one that would change both of our lives in the most profound ways. Our first meeting, at a cozy local Mexican restaurant in Kansas City, felt as though we were destined to meet. Despite our surface differences in appearance (Nicholas being covered in tattoos), we were both instantly at ease, and what followed was a connection that seemed to come from a place beyond the surface, as if our hearts had known each other long before. Since then we've been inseparable, exploring not just different cities together like LA, Vegas, St. Louis and our hometown of Kansas City, but new aspects of ourselves. Through these adventures, we have found our relationship to be a whirlwind of travel and growth, and Nicholas was introduced to the vibrancy and passion of Christie's Hispanic heritage--a culture rich with warmth, music, food, and love. Nicholas even found inspiration to begin running marathons, thanks to Christie's sister, and discovered a new passion in life. It's been a beautiful journey of learning, embracing, and blending our worlds together. And as we have traveled side by side, we have also come to realize the importance of family--our families now intertwining, growing closer with every shared moment and experience.
