Hamburg Airport

Getting to the venue by car/taxi: Hailing a taxi from the airport is easiest; cost are approx. 120€, but could be cheaper if pre-booked. Check out https://tinyurl.com/mfwbw3mu and https://tinyurl.com/n7ndbwpb for options. Getting to the venue by public transport: Public transport will take approximately 1.5 hours. The S1 train service leaves directly from the airport and takes you to the central station “Hamburg Hauptbahnhof”. From here you will change to the S3 or S5 to “Hamburg-Harburg Rathaus” - terminus station. From here you are able to continue via public transport on the 4200 bus line with a short walk at the end to arrive at the Landhaus. Approximately 8€ cost p.p. There is also the possibility to hail a taxi from Hamburg-Harburg Rathaus station. Bremen airport is a good choice for budget airlines with only a short extension on the travel time. It is approx. a one hour drive or two hours by public transport to the venue.

Train

Hamburg - Harburg

The two closest stations are Hamburg-Harburg and Harburg Rathaus, both reachable directly from Hamburg city centre via the S3 or S5 lines. You can then take a taxi from either station or a bus from Harburg Rathaus with a short walk the other side. If you are travelling through Germany by ICE (i.e.: high speed trains), your stop should be Hamburg-Harburg station where you can then grab a taxi to the venue. The journey should be 15 minutes by car. If the ICE does not stop at Hamburg-Harburg, then get off at Hamburg main station ("Hamburg Hauptbahnhof") and follow the instructions above.

Travel Note

Returning to Hamburg

There will be a shuttle service for guests travelling from Hamburg-Harburg Station to Hamburg central or to nearby hotels (please contact us in advance to confirm the shuttle will go to your hotel). This service will be from midnight until 03:00. By car/taxi: The city centre of Hamburg is about 30 min away. By public transport: The S3 train from Hamburg-Harburg station runs through the night, returning to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof. Running circa every 20 minutes. The inner city trains run through the night from Friday to Sunday. We will gather further taxi information for you. Please use this link below for information on travelling in Hamburg city.
