Our Story
We met how most of history's great couples meet...on Hinge, during Covid, with outdoor dining and masks. After early talks of travel, Chris surprised Anna for their 5th date (Valentine's Day weekend) with a trip to San Diego. After spending the weekend exploring Coronado Island, they knew this was more than a fling. Fast forward 3.5 years, a move, and getting the world's cutest golden retriever, Chris proposed on a sunny June day on a painted dock in Door County, WI with Lake Michigan in the background.

This event is formal attire and will be held outside on a terrace overlooking the ocean! Suits are appropriate for the men, and tropical colors and florals are welcomed for the ladies!
Cocktail hour will immediately follow the ceremony.

To fly to Cabo San Lucas, you should book flights to San José del Cabo International Airport (SJD), also known as Los Cabos International Airport. SJD is the main airport serving the Los Cabos region, which includes Cabo San Lucas. It's located approximately 47 km (29 miles) from Cabo San Lucas.

This is where you will book your rooms! Sunset Beach offers an all-inclusive package that includes meals, drinks, and various activities. By booking at Sunset Beach, you will have access to all sister resorts, including Rosé and Blanco, where the ceremony will be held. This resort is located on a private coastal bluff in the exclusive residential development of Quivira Los Cabos, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It features seven restaurants and bars, a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, an award-winning Armonia Spa, six outdoor swimming pools, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. The resort's location on the Pacific side, while beautiful, means the beach is not ideal for swimming due to strong currents. Guests can use a complimentary shuttle to access sister resorts on the Sea of Cortez (Rosé and Blanco) with swimmable beaches.

Is the wedding at a different location than where I am staying?
Answer
Yes, we will provide transportation to/from Peublo Bonito's sister resort for the ceremony and reception. If you happen to miss the bus, there are options every hour since you are a guest of the main resort.
Question
Are the wedding events outside?
Answer
Yes, all wedding events will be outside near the ocean, weather pending. Remember that it may get chilly as the sun goes down.

Have you reserved room blocks?
Answer
Yes, we have reserved a room block at Peublo Bonito Sunset and you may select from Junior Suite, Executive Suite, and Super Executive Suite options according to your party. Please book your stay by August 13th, 2025 to guarantee a room in our block. Use the website provided under the travel tab with code SYNNESTVEDT25 while booking to receive our reduced rate.

What is the most important information to check on my passport?
Answer
A valid U.S. passport is required for travel to Cabo San Lucas. Please be sure to check your passport expiration date. Most countries now require your passport to be valid for at least six months beyond your planned date of departure. If your passport requires renewal, please plan ahead! Currently, passport processing times are about 8-12 weeks.

Our first event (Welcome Drinks) will be held on Thursday, November 13th at 6 pm. The transportation to/from the airport to Peublo Bonito Sunset resort was about 1 hour.

Answer
This can be scheduled through Peublo Bonito Resorts when you book your room. Remember that you will want to arrive at Peublo Bonito SUNSET which is where guests will be staying.

Children are welcome to join outside of wedding events, however, our wedding venues will be adults only. The resort itself is kid-friendly.

Answer
Yes! The resort does a great job of transportation to and from, however if you are wanting to explore outside of the resort, Uber is easily available.

What the is average weather for Cabo in November?
Answer
In November, Cabo San Lucas is typically warm and sunny with temperatures ranging from the low 70s to the low 80s and lower humidity/less rainfall as compared to other months. Bring on the sunshine!
