We were going to the same church for years but never knew each other. I normally sang at the main campus in Henrico. While Keith worked on the media team at our Chesterfield campus. Thankfully we ended up meeting on Facebook. I saw he went to my church so I answered his inquiry. We texted and talked for a few weeks then went on our first date. He didn't compliment me right away so I went to the bathroom to look at myself and said "He is tripping I look GOOD!!". As the night went on he finally complimented me. As he walked me to my car he said hold on. Went to his car and pulled out some flowers for me. I still wasn't convinced it was a love connection. We continued to text and talk and he asked me for another date. A month later we went on our 2nd date. Everything we did was one of my favorite things to do. We went to the beach, ate "fancy" ice cream (even though he said we weren't supposed to eat dessert before dinner), walked the boardwalk and had so much fun that we skipped our dinner reservations to continue walking the boardwalk and talking. We ended up getting hungry later so we found an Applebee's. We didn't get back until almost 3am. Oh, I was into him now! We have continued to get to know each other and can't see our lives without each other. We are friends. We are family. We love each other the way we've always wanted to be loved and have someone who loves, serves, and acknowledges God. He sings to me..."When I first saw you I said oh my"! I've never wanted to have to MAKE someone fit and our love and friendship fits perfectly. We are excited to share our love and special day with those who mean the most to us.
