We believe that God’s timing is perfect—and our story is proof of that. We met in a season when neither of us was fully expecting love, but God had other plans. From our very first conversation, there was a sense of peace, joy, and purpose that made it clear this connection was something more. What started with a simple introduction turned into deep conversations, shared values, and a friendship that felt like home. Alfred loves to share the moment when he first noticed Cherylette: "I saw her humbly helping others with a true servant's heart - I've never seen anyone serve like that, I was blown away! I knew she was special and someone I could do ministry with; I've loved that about her ever since." Cherylette reflects on her love for Alfred: "For a long time, I prayed for peace. I prayed for someone who would truly see me, love me, and love my children. I prayed for a partner who would walk with me in faith and ministry. In Alfred, God answered every one of those prayers." As we grew closer, we prayed together, laughed together, and leaned into faith as the foundation of our relationship. With every challenge and blessing, we could see how God was shaping us—not just as individuals, but as partners for life. The day we got engaged was filled with gratitude and grace. He asked, and she said yes—with happy tears and a full heart. Now, as we prepare for marriage, we’re thankful for the love that brought us here—and for every person supporting us along the way! We know that a wedding is one beautiful day, but a marriage is a lifelong journey rooted in faith, patience, and unconditional love. Thank you for walking with us into this new chapter.
