Chennray: "Random Day: Saul told me we were to set a scheduled date to help his sister, Sofia (best lady) on one of her commissioned projects. It consisted of us getting dolled up to take some pictures which she'd turn into character animations.. Day of: Getting ready, I chose a black summer dress, curled my hair, did my make up. We left to head to TWU (where we thought was the best place for pictures around Denton) and began our journey around the campus to the random areas pretty enough for pictures. It was Hot. We went around for what I thought was at least 45 minutes of taking random photos around different areas of TWU (we even went inside the library to cool off and take more pictures).. As much as I wanted to help out with a project, I wanted to leave and instead come back at a later time when it was cooler. I asked Saul, "Can we go and just come back later when it's cooler.. Im all sweaty and gross, I don't even feel pretty anymore and its Hot". Saul responded with, "But you look beautiful, okay we'll just go to one more spot and then we'll leave" At this point I started drifting my thought out of the fact that we were helping Sofia with her project and instead thought I just wanted to leave. I said okay to going to one more area so we headed next to a building called the little chapel which had a mini private garden vibe to it. We took more pictures and as I looked at Saul he handed me a note and told me to read it. I opened the little note and a poem was written: When I think about this place I can't picture it without your face Love and fate brought us together Life is something that we can weather Year by year we've learned our traits Over time we've become soul mates Unreal how far we've come in time Mostly because we're just entering our prime All that time ago you didn't think we were on dates Remember when I was just excited to go out with Kaits Right by my side while we figure out our future You and I are in for a grand adventure Many have called us a great succession Everyone is waiting on one question It took me a minute to read it, I read it at least 2 more times until I finally realized the first letters of every row spelled out the question I've been eager to answer Yes to. He waited until I finished reading and actually comprehended what it said. I then looked up at him and he got on one knee and asked me again "Will You Marry Me?" I cried like a baby while saying "Yes".

One evening of "dead week" before final exams at the 3rd floor of Blagg-Huey TWU library on September 25, 2018 was the time we first met (proof via instragram archives). A mutual friend introduced us when we sat on the same table to study together. As they studied biology and chemistry, I (Chennray) was distracted by the amount of watermelon there was on the table, comparing it to my sour patch watermelon snack. Chennray: I couldn't get my mind off of when I talked or said one of my sarcastic jokes, Saul gave me all of his attention. He'd look at me with eyes (w/c I thought looked a lot like puppy dog eyes) that paid so close attention to every word I was saying, it made me feel like I mattered even if all he knew about me was my name. Immediately, I knew he'd be a good friend to have. Saul: I remember how much we got along from the first time we met. We laughed at all the same things and I instantly knew I wanted to keep seeing her. At the time we didn't know it, but that day and the subsequent chemistry tutoring sessions would spark a relationship that would bring out the best in the both of us.
