I was trying to take a nap with Ari. She had not fallen asleep yet. Tim came in and got down on one knee and said he never expected to love so much or to be loved so much again. He then asked me to marry him and gave me the ring. Ari said, "I love you, Tim! Mom, you got a prize!" and the way he writes it :) For the past 2 years Chelsey Carr Lemons and I have been helping each other through the grieving process. We call ourselves our “Emotional Support Person”. During that time our friendship solidified and she became my best friend. Then, we decided to try this “dating” thing. Our relationship continued to grow over the year and turned into love. Today I decided to ask her to become my wife. At the beginning of this journey we both felt that we would never feel love or be loved again. No one will ever replace our spouses that we both tragically lost. As we have found out over these past 2 years the book did not close. We are just on a new chapter of our lives. I’m excited about writing these new chapters with you! I love you Chelsey!
