How They Met Rob met Chelsea in the fall of 2009 while pledging to become a member of Alpha Phi Omega at Hunter College. As a pledge, he was supposed to contact Chelsea, his Big Brother, but guess what? He didn't. Classic Rob move! A few months later, after officially becoming a member, Rob was in search of a pizza buddy. To his surprise, Chelsea, who dislikes pizza, agreed to join him. Although they didn’t speak much before, they had their first of many great, free-flowing conversations. Shortly after, Roberly asked Chelsea if she'd join him at the poetry club for an English assignment, and, once again to his surprise, she agreed. Though she claims she felt sorry for him and wanted to help him with his homework. Before each other knew it, they were messaging daily and into the night. They denied it to themselves, they denied it to the world, but inside, they knew: this was the start of an unbreakable bond. Talk about a love story that's almost too cheesy, just like their first pizza date. The Proposal On a rainy day in Brooklyn, they planned to run errands and attend a friend's birthday dinner, which turned out to be canceled. Unbeknownst to Chelsea, it was a setup to get her out while her best friend, Shevhon, helped arrange a private picnic. When they returned, Rob surprised Chelsea with a private sushi chef, a violinist, and rose petals leading to a flower-adorned picnic table in their small apartment. After many years, he finally knelt down and asked, "Will you marry me?"

Maid of Honor
I’m Charmaine, the little sister of the bride. I’m a Med Lab Tech in Blood Bank. Chels says my family found me by a dumpster behind a Chinese restaurant and I met Rob when Chels was living in North Carolina. I love bubble tea and have an affinity to any and all desserts involving chocolate. I currently live on Long Island with Chels and Rob where my days are filled with Rob’s random lyrics and Chels’s jump scares.
Maid of Honor
My name is Shevhon, I’m currently living in New Jersey and I am a Nurse Practitioner. I know Chelsea from elementary school and we met Roberly at Hunter College. I love to travel and I’m terrified of spiders and clowns. Fun fact: I would secretly love to take flying lessons. Hi, my name is Sabine and I live in Los Angeles. I’ve known Chelsea since elementary school and met her through my cousin, Shevhon. We all grew up together like peas in a pod :) I love to travel, explore and try new things, read, watch movies, hang out with friends and family, be in nature, and work out. I don’t like war, societal dysfunctions, genetically modified and processed food, BS, and uptight personalities. Fun fact: I’ve skydived over a 7th wonder of the world. Favorite Memory: My favorite memory of Chelsea is anytime she made us go through 10 boxes to open one gift.

My name is Jessica. I am a Queens girl. I work for the department of education as a school psychologist. I am bilingual and some of my favorite things are dogs, anything purple, and traveling. I know the beautiful couple from attending Hunter college and pledging the same Greek organization. I've gotten to see them grow into their own person as well as as a couple. Favorite memory: One of my fun memories with the couple was completing Tough Mudder with them as the "28 Mudder Toughers."

Hello, I’m Yves, Roberly’s older brother. We go back a ways, I guess you can say. From getting in trouble for eating all the grapes to walking in his wedding, what a journey! I am a fan of sporting events, concerts, fashion, and interior decorating. I work with children. We all know children are the future. I will be in the cut the whole time, trying to avoid everyone, but don’t take it personal. But don’t come by and say hi either, lol. Much happiness Chels and Rob.

My name is Bruno, Roberly's cousin, I am late for the party. I like watching sports like, MMA, football ⚽️ aka soccer in the USA, I like fixing things, and I am always learning new things. I know this little fella before and after he was born, he is a very smart, intelligent cool kid, him and I always keep in touch, we talk about everything and nothing. When it comes to Chelsea she is pretty cool, down to earth also, whenever we talk and meet it's always fun and positive vibes. I hope and wish the best to the both of them always, through ups and downs.

I’m glad that Chelsea will be part of the family. Maybe now he can get on the sticks and play COD. And there’s no pause to that. LOL

Rob is my favorite Aladin because even at 5’3”, he’s still taller than all of his siblings… AND, he’s marrying a true MVP. Cheers to Rob & Chels 🥂

I am Gims Paul Jr. (Yes Gims is my first name😊) Rob, his siblings and I are family and grew up together in NY. I currently live in Massachusetts with my wife and 2 kids. I am a Senior Executive for a software company and I own a property management company. Growing up, although Rob was the youngest, we all knew he would be the smartest. If your save the date/invitation was addressed to you and a guest, then yes! Otherwise, due to limited capacity, we cannot accommodate additional guests. Also, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. Thank you for understanding!
