FAQs

Question

What is a Bar Mitzvah?

Answer

A Bar Mitzvah is a Jewish coming-of-age milestone celebrated when a Jewish boy turns 13, recognized as a religious adult. Marking the moment during the service, Chase will lead the congregation and read from the Torah in Hebrew, signifying his transition into Jewish adulthood. The service will also include remarks from Chase and his parents, celebrating the dedication and effort he invested in reaching this meaningful day and honoring this joyful event.

Question

About the Service.

Answer

Phones should be silenced before the service commences. The service begins promptly at 10:00 AM and will last about 90 minutes. Parents are welcome to attend the service as well. A buffet-style Kiddush luncheon will be served following the service. Parents should plan on picking up their children at 12:45 PM.

Question

What should I wear to the service?

Answer

Wear attire that is appropriate for any religious ceremony inside a place of worship.

Question

What do I wear to the Saturday Celebration?
