I've known Jr.com since freshman year college at Tufts University. I remembered how i was one of the very few people to come to his defense when he opened his mouth and said things that got him attacked by every girl in out class (ask me about it later). Although Junior had what some would consider an unpopular opinion, it's very much like junior to speak his mind regardless of how other people feel about it. Over the yeara that brash Attitude became more refined and tactical and i'd like to think it was 100% because of my teachings and mentorship. Junior and I have been through a lot of struggles and challenges and even at times where I've decided to throw the hat in junior has decided to push forward. I remember those late nights of studying, junior would leave to get his "hair braided" but still come back and bang out that which needed to be done. I firmly believe that anything he says that he wants to do, and really means it, he'll get it done. Whether that is getting into the engineering school, switching careers super late into his life, or even choosing to embark on a new job title of husband. I wish you and yours all the best of success. And I couldn't be more happy for him and his future wife. Continue to do BIG THINGS my friend.

Sunday April 17, 2022 at Chapman and Kirby, in Houston, TX, JR approached Chantelle and her sister Jenean and asked if they would like to join him and his friends in their section for a drink. Chantelle and Junior continued to talk and laugh throughout the night. They exchanged contact info and the rest is history. ❤️

Chantelle is a former professional basketball champion who has played in England, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy. She won a silver medal with Team England in the 2018 Goldcost, Australia Commonwealth Games. 2022-2023 Miss Kentucky and 1st Runner up Miss for America She currently works as a real estate professional and CEO of a nonprofit organization called Winter Garden Sober Living, INC which helps women in early recovery of substance use disorder. Junior has had a long and prosperous career and has shared his expertise at companies like Boeing and Goldman Sachs, before taking on his current role as the Director of mergers and acquisitions for a renewable energy company in Houston Texas.

Before going to dinner at a seafood restaurant, called Oceanaire Junior told Chantelle they would be stopping to take some photos outside in the museum district close to the fountains. When she asked who would take the photos he said he thought there would be more people around so they took photos of one another and while Chantelle was setting up her phone to take a timed photo Junior got down on one knee and her sister popped out of the bushes to capture his proposal on camera. He said “We have had a lot of ups and downs but one thing remains the same, I love you. Will you marry me? She said, “I will!”
