Is the ceremony and reception taking place at a "typical" wedding venue?

Answer

Not quite! We’re so excited to welcome our guests to Carly’s family property—a backyard setting that is very special to us both. The Chadd property is located in the greater Lancaster countryside, and cell service can be spotty, so we highly recommend entering the address into your GPS before getting close. Please keep limited cell coverage in mind throughout the day; Wi-Fi will be available if needed for emergent situations.

No registry here! Your presence is truly the best gift! For those who wish to give, we’ve set up a honeymoon fund to help us make memories on our first adventure as a married couple.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving around 3:00 PM to park and get settled before our 3:30 PM ceremony begins.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! As the wedding is being hosted on family property, parking will be available in a field next to the house. Staff will be on hand to assist with parking if desired, and golf cart transportation will be available for guests who need extra assistance getting to the ceremony and reception areas.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be available via a shuttle provided by Sleep Inn & Suites in Lancaster to and from the celebrations. For those staying at this accommodation, we highly encourage utilizing this transportation option! The shuttle bus will depart from Sleep Inn & Suites at 2:55pm. The shuttle will be available to pick guests up at 9:00pm and 11:30pm to return to the hotel.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes— Cocktail attire is requested. Suits or dress shirts with slacks are perfect, as are cocktail or midi dresses and dressy jumpsuits. Since the wedding is outdoors on grass, low heels, wedges, block heels, or flats are encouraged.

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests whose names are listed on the invitation and RSVP. This applies to plus-ones and children as well. We appreciate your understanding.

Answer

Yes! We will be providing dietary options to meet the needs of vegetarians and those with gluten intolerances. Please note any allergies or dietary restrictions in your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
