Chad McDaniel and Tori Bachik—a love story that began in a chance meeting at a bowling alley with mutual friends. Our love story reached new heights with the arrival of a precious miracle—our darling daughter, Ember Lyn McDaniel. Her presence is a testament to the love that binds us, a love that continues to grow with each passing day. On a beautiful morning, as the sun rose over Tybee Island in hues of gold and pink, Chad knelt before Tori and asked for her hand in marriage. It was a moment of pure serenity, a dream fulfilled as Tori's wish for a sunrise proposal on the east coast became a reality. Just as the sun rises to greet a new day, our love dawned with the promise of forever. Together, we've embarked on a journey of growth and discovery, learning how to be the best possible partners for each other with each sunrise and sunset. Now, as we stand on the threshold of forever, surrounded by the love of our friends and family, we embrace the joy of taking this next step together. WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Answer
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best formal cocktail attire. Jewel Tone and neutral colors are encouraged 😊 Please no jeans / denim & avoid shades of white or bright neons.

CAN I BRING A GUEST/DATE?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accomodate those guests formally invited. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions!

ARE KIDS ALLOWED?
Answer
If your children have been included, their names will be listed under your RSVP. We do encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for yourself but this is a family event and we want all of our babies to celebrate with us! Please reach out to us if you have any questions.

WHEN DO WE NEED TO RSVP BY?
Answer
Please RSVP by September 21st, using the RSVP tab in the menu. If you do not RSVP in time we will assume that you are unable to attend.

You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "not attending" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 4 pm. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

We will be providing champagne for a toast and we have paid to have a cash bar set up if you wish to partake!

WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOO OR OUTDOORS?

The ceremony will be outside overlooking the beautiful Sacramento River and the reception will be located inside the country club ❤️

Sheraton Redding Hotel at the Sundial Bridge
The Sheraton Hotel is located right next to Redding’s most famous land mark, the Sundial Bridge. It is 4.3 miles from the wedding venue and within Uber distance of downtown. Wherever you choose to stay PLEASE avoid any of the hotels located in downtown Redding. IE the Stardust Motel, The Americana, The Thunderbird Motel etc.

If you are looking for a relaxing, Spa centered hotel at stay at while you are here for our celebration, the Gaia is for you. Located in Anderson, CA, it is just 5.1 miles from our Wedding venue.

Best Western Plus Hilltop Inn
If you are looking for a good value hotel in a good area of town, I suggest staying anywhere near Hilltop Dr and I personally worked at CR Gibbs American Grille which is a fantastic restaurant attached to the Best Western on Hilltop. Wherever you choose to stay PLEASE avoid any of the hotels located in downtown Redding. IE the Stardust Motel, The Americana, The Thunderbird Motel etc.

The cheapest flights to the nearest airport would be into the Sacramento Airport. It is a 2.5 hour drive to get to Redding.

You can fly into Redding directly but you would have to fly into LAX first and then take the once a day flight into Redding! It may take some planning (and at least 2 lay overs) but that is the closest airport!
