Chad and Pretika met with a few friends for "Elf" trivia night at a Roseville Pub in December of 2021.

Pretika and Chad had yet to meet up since Trivia Night. The next interaction occurred at their mutual friend's Gender reveal party. Yes, the same friends from Trivia Night that were expecting at the time! As Pretika walked into the home she spotted some familiar faces along with Chad's! Pretika noticed Chad when the reveal occurred, as he smiled with glee at the happy couple! She was pleasantly surprised to see how handsome and genuine his smile was! She noticed how sweet he was at that moment as she saw a different side of him. She eventually sent a friend request on social media, hoping Chad would respond. They later exchanged phone numbers and set a first date.

Pretika invited Chad to her performance of the National Anthem at Orangevale's Palooza. There he saw Pretika's talent and fell in love.

Chad asked her to meet at the University of Beer for food and drinks! Pretika was very surprised at how kind and funny he was and soon they began to have deep conversations and connected. Pretika and Chad's future began to develop at this point. After dinner, they decided to watch the Elvis movie because both shared interest in music. They enjoyed the movie and said goodnight with giddiness afterwards and they both knew something special was developing!

Pretika and Chad continued dating for the next year and a half meeting each other's friends and family with many date nights, concerts, sporting events, traveling the state, and spending time with Chad's dog, Maya. In the Fall of 2023, Chad felt confident that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with the woman he loved. He proposed to Pretika on a weekend getaway in Fort Bragg. Luckily Pretika felt the same way and exclaimed her love by accepting his proposal with the words, "Of course I will marry you!"
