In 2011, Chad got hired at Big Y when Mallory was already an employee there for about a year. One night Mallory was working when a few "new hires" came in for orientation, Chad being one of them. He was the new quiet cashier who you never heard a peep out of - until one day Mallory helped him bag and started small talk. From there she found out him and her cousin Sam went to the same school and played on the same baseball team and knew some of the same people.. from there they became friends and then best friends... Mallory had her graduation party that summer and Chad was a guest, this was the day mallory realized it was more then "friendship" when they flirted all day and when he left she felt lonely even though there were a ton of friends still there. They hung out exactly one week later, July 22nd to be exact, and had their first unexpected kiss, and Chad asked Mallory " to make it official." Chances are.. if you know us well, you know how much we have gone through the last 6 years. More than most people in their early 20's?? Definitely. But all of it just shows how much we can handle together and still keep a tight bond.
