We said 'I Do'

12/30/24

On December 30th, 2024, we exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Auburn, California. We entered the New Year as newlyweds, and are ready to party with those we love most! Join us in celebrating this new chapter of our lives, in one of Nevada City's oldest buildings (Emily really likes that). 2025 marks 10 years together, so what better place to celebrate a decade long relationship than a place rich in history? Stay tuned for more details. -Emily and Kyle

FAQs

Question

Formal Attire?

Answer

Listen, you don't have to go full ballgown or tuxedo. Here are some ideas: - Colors: Fall colors encouraged - Shoes: There are stairs in some parts of the venue, so be conscious of comfort and safety - Gals: Emily requests that gals steer clear of solid black dresses - Guys: Suits encouraged, dress slacks, dress shirts (ties are optional), shoes can be classic dress shoes or nice boots if preferred

Question

Weather?

Answer

Nevada City in Autumn is GORGEOUS. The temperature may range from 70-80 degrees in the day, and 50 degrees (give or take) in the evening. A light jacket is recommended just in case!

Question

Parking?

Answer

The Stone House has a parking lot. We highly suggest carpooling if there's family or friends that are willing to do so. Street parking is also available! Lastly, the venue will be partially open to the public, so we cannot guarantee you parking in their lot.
