Here's what to expect during our wedding weekend. On Friday, July 26th, there will be a small private ceremony with the immediate family at the Allegheny County Courthouse. This is a time for our families to witness our union and have our family photos. An intimate gathering will follow with light appetizers and drinks. We will update the location of where that will be soon. Saturday is a free for all day. We encourage you all to enjoy all that Pittsburgh has to offer! We have listed a few family friendly ideas below. Dave and Diane will continue to spend time with family and prepare for Sunday's reception. Sunday we will have the reception at the Hofbrauhaus. The details are below. Dave and Diane will be staying at the Hyatt directly across from the reception venue. We booked our rooms for $159 a night from Thursday-Monday. The secured prices are more expensive because it's the weekend rate. You may be able to book a cheaper rate if you book early.

Friend

"I met David in kindergarten. He was an asshole then if you could believe it. He wouldn’t let me play with his shredder car. By high school we were homies. We got in so much trouble that both of our moms said we weren’t allowed to hang out with the other one anymore. So the next day in home room, we made plans for the weekend. lol what do I appreciate about Dave? …well I’d “appreciate” it if he would move back to PA, but since that isn’t happening… I appreciate that he’s genuine. What you see is what you get. And he’s always been a good friend. You know where you stand with him." -Josh Burkett

Cherry Claudio

Friend

"Diane's vibrant personality lit up the halls of our high school from the moment I met her. Her go-getter attitude and determination to succeed were inspiring, and it was evident that she was destined for greatness. When tragedy struck with the loss of my father, Diane's compassion and generosity knew no bounds. She used her talent for flower arranging to create stunning arrangements for his memorial, bringing comfort and beauty to a difficult time. Diane's ability to adapt and excel in any situation truly made her a jack of all trades, leaving a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know her. Dave is one lucky guy!" -Cherry

Joe Colvin

Friend

"I met Dave at work. Fighting Fire. Hit it off right away. We trained hard and had a lot of fun. Dave has always been a solid friend, and shown my family the upmost respect. The Colvin’s consider him to be one of our own. I’m really happy for you guys. Congrats!" -Joe Colvin

Lena Hunt

Diane's NSLP (Non-Sexual Life Partner)

"She is my NSLP...nuff said, haha! We have known each other since 2013 and have been roommates then besties ever since. She has been an amazing influence on me with my faith and with exercise, of course. She has taught me how to cook and how to be a good friend. she is fiercely loyal and amazingly thoughtful. Even though we live opposite ends of California we always find time once a year to spend together. We have seen each other through heartache and loss, always reminding each other of God's grace. She is the sister that feeds my soul. l couldn't be happier for her and Dave- the one we prayed so hard for!" -Lena

Patrick McClean

Cousin

"I met Dave when he woke me up from a deep sleep on the top bunk in our barracks while we were both deployed to Iraq. We are “kinda-sorta” cousins as my Mom says; and, we were introduced through our Uncle Jack. Dave and I became fast friends through the Army, visiting each other at different colleges, and later as roommates in San Diego. He later talked me into a season of wildland firefighting. My parents were thrilled. There’s a lot to love about our beloved Dave, but as others have mentioned, he’s quick-witted, funny, honest, and will always give to ya straight. He’s a winner through and through, but I’m elated that he’s found Diane to complete his warm fuzzy heart & be a phenomenal companion for years to come." ⁃    PMac

Friend

"I met Diane through a photoshoot I flew down for the day. We became instagram friends & when I decided to fly down to SD on my own, I made a last minute decision to only tell her (since she was the only one I knew that lived there.) She met up with me that night, and we talked about God, his impact, and our whole journey with Him. She became one of my best friends, a mentor, and sister in Christ. In 2023, she flew me back down for my birthday and walked by my side as I chose to be born again as a Christian. We later got to hang with Dave, who I met for the first time, bonded over card games, (Diane is very competitive), & his adorable doggo. Diane introduced me to the act of praying for a husband, a partner, and so when she told me about Dave, I was so happy. And to see them now is 🥹! 🫶🏽" -Queene

Christie StoDomingo

Friend

"It's been over 20+ years of friendship with this tiny but mighty beautiful woman. Diane and I clicked right from the moment we met back on New Years Day 2002! It was as if we've known each other for years. We have a ton of fun and amazing memories during our college years. From me going to Riverside, to her visiting SD or us making our random trips to Orange County. We played hard in our 20s, got a little more serious in our 30s, and became more intentional in our 40s. I'm definitely going to grow old with this one. She always takes a moment to stop and check-in and just catch up. She has always been present for all the important things that matter. Diane has been a great role model to my daughter Rya as her Ninang (Godmother). She continues to shower her with love and guidance these past 15 years. I admire the bond she has built with her, and my daughter has someone to look up to. Diane has many friends and can make friends wherever she goes as she is a social butterfly. What I love about her the most is that she values deep and intimate connections with people, and I am blessed to be one of them. She is a God-fearing woman who will make sure to pray for you in time of need. She always wants good things for the people who matter the most to her. I'm so happy Diane has finally found her soul mate. She is so deserving of her happily ever after. Dave got himself a great catch because she would pour all her love into him. I can't wait for her & Dave's big day!!!" -Christie

"Dave is one of my oldest friends. He has lived a life of excitement and danger since we rolled together. I have the fondest memories in adolescence from those days. I am excited for both of you. Hope it’s a day you’ll both often think of as the days get long. Can’t wait to celebrate with you." -Sinisha

"I met Dave on a warm spring morning at the Jamul Fire station he looked so cute and innocent, little did I know that sweet young man was a work machine. He defintely taught me a lot about discipline and how to lead a successful team." -Pedro

Caroline Fong

Diane's Highschool Best Friend

A special birthday shout-out to Caroline! Thank you for cancelling your Comic-Con tickets to come to the wedding! Wheee!!! I feel special. I know how hard those tickets are to come by. Thank you for being a fierce, loving, and loyal friend to us all. We can't wait to celebrate you too! We love you! Also, here's a picture of us when we were 15. You were my first friend to approach my mom at back to school night and ask her if she was my mom. I think you were my first friend at Eastlake High! This girl right here is one of the smartest girls I know. In college, she started a Japanese club just so she could say she was the club president on her college applications. She recruited people from the math and chess club to join using her friends as bait. She even raised money so they could "go to Japan" but in the end we just threw a bowling ball pizza party for everyone with the money and called it a day at the end of the year. We were in rival sororities and survived college only to become closer. The first friend at every hospital visit my mom and dad had during some rough patches in our lives bringing me food and staying long hours making sure I was ok. Always making us all laugh with her musings and stories... We are all better people having you in our lives. Happy Birthday!!!!

Caroline Cerrano (Fong)

Friend

Well, I uh, was in a sketchy area (high school) and happened to see this sketchy girl (Diane) and decided to befriend her as the good Lord compelled me to. Haha but seriously she was the new student in senior year that was the oil in my water, but somehow, it made for good pasta.

The Proposal: Brighton, Utah
