Chelsea and Juan both previously worked at a carrot shipping company Grimmway Farms. Chelsea worked as a clerk, Juan was a lead. They both crossed paths here and there in the office but never spoke much until one day..there was a posting created for a new shift. Chelsea was intrigued for she really felt working FOUR days is wayyyyy better than SIX. So she signed up for it. But what a minute.. who is this guy who would be in charge of this “new crew”?? Yup, the lead Juan Navarro was taking on a new lead/supervisor role for this new ‘weekend crew’ Chelsea introduced herself, flirted a bit in hopes to sway the favor in her way… Alas, It did not work. Juan is very upbeat and energetic at the workplace and always would say hi to everyone in the office. Chelsea never thought twice about him. She kept to herself and would talk just to her coworkers next to her. Chelsea never got the position. But that is how they got to know each other. Because of carrots.

Working at Grimmway Farms Chelsea bonds over music (of course) with some of her co workers. One in particular, called Candy decided to make plans to go to a concert. Chelsea is super excited and found really great bad bunny tickets. As the date approaches, Candy apologetically says shes unable to go. Chelsea is bummed but really wants to go still. So she invites her new boyfriend Juan. To this Bad bunny concert In April, like Easter/ end of spring break time. and they’re two people who work for a carrot shipping company. I mean how flipping coincidental is this trip sounding ? Welp It must’ve been sign something else was going to HOP into their lives soon.. LOVE! & Their first son Nito who was born 9 months later.

It’s Easter time again! Lol just kidding it had just passed, there was a baby shower for their 2nd baby coming up and so Juan tells Chelsea : “We are taking Family photos at the park before the party” Chelsea saw some of the signs something was up but wasn’t for sure and went along with it anyways. However Chelsea made a huge mistake while she was putting on waterproof mascara and eyeliner. In the midst of rushing to get ready, dealing with a one year old, the combination of sweating in the Bakersfield heat and being 8 months preggers. the makeup had started to smudge into her contact lenses. Juan didn’t know /notice Chelsea was struggling throughout the whole photo session. And then finally at the end Chelsea was literally blindsided. At that point, Her view was foggy and she was uncomfortable with her eyes, pregnancy and heat.. Thank god there was a photographer taking the photos, because she really couldn’t see sh*t.. but enough to make out Juan was on his knee.. proposing. <3
