How We Met
Cathy and Dan had their first date May 3rd, 2022 at Cathy's favorite bar, Estero in Logan Square. They will be getting married on their 3 year anniversary in 2025! Dan and Cathy hit it off right away after Dan asked her a million questions, or as Cathy likes to say "he interviewed me." Dan and Cathy lovingly labeled their first summer together #SummerofCath and #HotDansummer. Dan told Cathy he was looking for something serious, turns out Cathy was too. Flash forward a few short months and Cathy and Dan started to plan their lives together. The rest is history!

A shuttle will start pick ups from the hotels departing at exactly 4:30pm to arrive at the event space by 5:00 pm. Ceremony starts promptly at 5:30 pm. *Please keep in mind Chicago rush hour traffic.* A shuttle returning to the hotels from the event will start at 9 pm shuttling until the end of the after party!

Arbory’s main entrance can be found on Grand Ave through the painted double doors. Free street parking can be found along Grand Ave and on the residential streets nearby such as Oakley, Leavitt, Race, or Hubbard Streets. We have also rented a parking lot at 2233 W Race Ave. at Mitchell Elementary School.

Julie was Cathy's classmate at DePaul. They have been friends since Professor Scott Markwell's class in 2008.

Marie was Cathy's roommate for nearly 6 years. They enjoyed their Cortez St. apartment which they loving named "the secret hot girls HQ."
Kait Jewett

Kait is also Cathy's former DePaul classmate and was assigned as her dorm suitemate in 2007. After being assigned as suitemates, they found each other on Facebook and met up at the John Mayer concert in the summer of 2007. They've been best buds ever since!
Jackie Kendra

Jackie is Cathy's cousin and BFF. They've been inseparable ever since Jackie was born when you could find Cathy climbing into Jackie's crib where they would play every morning together during their Florida visits.
Monica Timmerman
Bridesmaid
Monica is one of Cathy's oldest and dearest friends. They met while in elementary school at St. Alexander's and became close while doing the Girl Scouts together over the years. Even though Monica moved to San Fransisco, they remain close and Cathy spent much of the pandemic hanging in CA with Monica making great memories!
Rob McLaughlin
Best Man
Rob was Dan's classmate from Indiana University, and his roommate over the years, in sometimes questionable apartments. Rob introduced Dan to Chicago after their college years.
Brian Creagh
Groomsman
Brian "OD" Creagh and Dan met at college and lived together in both Bloomington and Chicago. Brian is a die hard Indiana University sports fan, having taken Dan to many of their games over the years. Brian has always imparted wisdom to Dan via his dad's classic sayings.
Aaron Mojica
Groomsman
Aaron and Dan became close friends at college, and bonded over having the same taste in music. They have an annual get together with friends every year to celebrate their May birthdays. Aaron and his wife are Dan and Cathy's go to double date partners.
Michael Hill
Groomsman
Michael is the groom's brother. He is the family math and board game expert.
Marty Bobak
Groomsman
Marty is Cathy's brother-in-law. After introducing Dan to him, they became fast friends.

Yes, valet and overnight parking is available at both hotel garages for a fee. You may also choose to use the app SpotHero to a reserve a spot near your hotel if you wish.

We kindly ask that you come in semi-formal or cocktail attire. A suit is preferable for men, while women should opt for a formal dress, cocktail dress or formal jumpsuit.
