Dress We ask everyone-men and women-to please come to Mass dressed modestly: - We are in the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. - Our clothing should not be distracting to those around us. While not required, ladies are welcome to wear a head covering or mantilla during Mass. Doing so is a traditional sign of humility and purity before God, though again, it is an optional, personal devotion.
Absolutely! Non-Catholics are welcome to attend the Nuptial Mass. While Holy Communion is reserved for practicing Catholics, all guests are invited to join us in the celebration and witness our marriage. We are grateful to have you share in this special day with us.
Practicing Catholics who are properly disposed to receive Holy Communion are welcome to receive the Eucharist at the Traditional Latin Mass. At our parish, Communion is received at the altar rail while kneeling, and the priest will place the Eucharist directly on the tongue rather than in the hand. If you are unable to kneel, you may stand at the end of the altar rail. If you are unfamiliar with the process, simply follow the guidance of the priest or those around you.
