Sometimes, blessings come in disguise. Sometimes, we work hard to earn them. Sometimes, life feels black and white. Sometimes, it bursts into vibrant color. Sometimes, there are heated debates. Sometimes, there’s nothing but warmth and adoration. Sometimes, there’s a tearful drama. Sometimes, uncontrollable laughter. Sometimes, we clash. But always, we stand for each other. Everything has changed since the day we met. Like two opposing poles drawn together by an unseen force, a connection we never thought would work. We’ve grown—in ways we never imagined—together. Through every phase of our lives, through ups and downs, through the rollercoaster ride (not literally—because we can’t handle one! 😆), through the cherry blossoms, and through these theses. And now, here we are—ready to close one chapter and begin a new one!

Aww, that’s so kind of you! Your presence and well wishes already mean the world to us. We truly appreciate your thoughtful gesture. If you’d like to send a gift, you can do so via bank transfer to: OCBC 6938-1454-6208 The Arif Setio Nugroho or BCA 7940-1989-11 Catharine Bella
Yes, of course! We totally understand. If you're more than 70% sure you'll be able to come, feel free to confirm your attendance first—you can always update it later. That way, we can reserve the best seat for you since the party will be on a round-table setup. But if it's still a 50:50 chance, no worries! You can confirm by H-7 instead. Either way, please don’t stress about it! We truly appreciate you, and if you can’t make it, we’d love to catch up another time!
Sure! We’ve tried a few transportation options, including a personal car, train, and bus. Here’s what we found based on our experience: 1. Personal Car Great if you’re traveling with more than two people or if you want to explore Semarang at your own pace. You can make stops along the way—like we did in Cirebon (the only city we tried, so that’s our main reference!). Perfect for a road trip vibe! 2. Train Best if you’re on a tight schedule since trains are usually punctual (unless there’s flooding in Semarang—fun fact: Arif once got delayed for 3 hours because of it!). The Tawang Train Station in Semarang is super close to Kota Lama, where you can soak in the classic architecture of Gereja Blenduk, visit Museum Kota Lama, and enjoy delicious local food. 3. Cititrans Busline A great option if you live near BSD, so you don’t have to cross Jakarta first. The journey takes about 7 hours, but the seats are comfy, and you get snacks and unlimited Pop Mie + hot drinks—pretty awesome, right? The final stop is near Semarang Airport, which is a bit far from the city. Fun fact: Catharine gets carsick easily, so this wasn’t ideal for her, but Arif had a great time!
o happy that you’re excited to explore Semarang! 🎉 We’ve stayed at a few hotels here, and based on our experience, these are our top recommendations: 1. Aruss Hotel (https://g.co/kgs/BL6Wiun) This is a relatively new hotel, and we absolutely love the vibes! The modern minimalist design is so nice, and while we haven’t personally tried the food, our family and friends rave about it. Just a heads-up—it’s about a 15-minute drive from the city center. 2. Artotel (https://g.co/kgs/fJ9TXPx) Super convenient since it’s right across from our reception venue! It’s centrally located and pretty new, though the building and parking area are on the smaller side. The rooms are comfy, the breakfast is decent, and they even have a rooftop bar and an in-room coffee capsule machine! Plus, the staff is really friendly and helpful. 3. Quest Hotel (https://g.co/kgs/FCEdvfc) If you love Soto, this one’s for you—it’s right next to Soto Bokoran, a legendary spot! The building itself is a bit older and nothing fancy, but the staff is super friendly, and the breakfast spread has plenty of variety. Fun fact: it’s managed by the Aston Group! PS. If you’d like to stay at Aruss or Quest Hotel, you can reach out to Catharine—we have bookings there too! 🙂
