UPDATE: Wedding-day shuttles are scheduled to depart at 2 pm.
...in the mountains! We fell in love with our venue before we were even engaged. We really hope you're up for the adventure. Scroll on for travel info, details about the festivities, and to RSVP. ♡C+D
5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
We can't wait to see you. Join us on Saturday evening for hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and mingling. It'll be casual; feel free to come and go as your travel allows. Please note you can park for free in the garage at 1250 Jackson Street in Golden.
3:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Sunday's the big day! Join us at 3 pm for our wedding ceremony. Cocktails, dinner, and dancing to follow, through 10 pm. We recommend semi-formal to cocktail attire with a cozy layer. The ceremony will be outdoors, and it can be quite chilly in the mountains in May.
Travel Note
The venue's just outside of Denver, so flying in to Denver International Airport (DEN) is likely your best bet. If you prefer to travel by train, the Amtrak to Denver's Union Station may be a beautiful alternative. From there, we recommend renting a car with other guests or getting around by Uber or Lyft.
Hotel
We've reserved a room block at the Comfort Suites on Evergreen Parkway, between the Denver airport and our venue in the mountains. Please call 303-526-2000 and ask for “reservations” to join the Seiser-Cutright group. Our group rate is secured through April 15, 2024. This is where our shuttles to the venue will depart.
Hotel
Prefer a boutique option? Try the Eddy Taproom & Hotel, right in downtown Golden. We don't have a block here, but let us know if you choose this option and wish to get in on the shuttle—we may be able to add a pickup.
Shuttle
May 19, 2024 2:00 pm
North Star Gatherings has onsite parking. You're welcome to drive, but the venue requests vehicles not be left overnight. If you'll be drinking, please take our provided shuttle both ways. Shuttles will depart from the Comfort Suites Golden West at 2 pm. After the reception—around 10 pm—they'll take you back to the same location. The ride is about 30 minutes. We can have a shuttle or two leave early if desired. Children may ride if you bring a car seat, per Colorado law. Please indicate if your party will be taking the shuttle with your RSVP.
Neither of us have ties to Colorado—we just love the mountains. With family and friends scattered across the country, we figured the vast majority of guests would have to travel no matter what. This way it's an adventure for us all. We sure hope you can make a trip of it.
North Star Gatherings has beautiful outdoor decks but is otherwise an indoor venue. We plan to have the ceremony outdoors, cocktail hour outdoors (in a separate area with heat lamps), and dinner and dancing indoors. Please note it can be quite chilly in the mountains in May!
Semi-formal to cocktail attire with a cozy layer: Wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits or separates, dress shirts and slacks, suits optional. That said, whatever you're comfortable in will do. Just remember to bring a coat to keep warm enough during the short outdoor ceremony.
No. The venue is accessible and all outdoor activities will be on decks. For everyone but the bridal party, that is.
Cate and Dan. We don't mind.
