Farm formal attire: cocktail/semi-formal attire with footwear appropriate for the rustic venue (venue grounds are almost entirely gravel; closed-toe shoes recommended).

Food will be kosher style (dairy). Dinner will have a fish entree and a vegan entree, with a kid-friendly vegetarian option available for our younger guests.

Registry

Gifts are absolutely not expected. We weren't even planning to have a gift registry. We're hardly newlyweds, and after so many years of sharing a life together, there isn't much we need for our home. However, some folks have kindly asked for options to give something anyway. We would be incredibly honored if you chose to help us make new memories and build our future together, but please do not feel obligated. No matter what, your support and love are the best gifts we could ask for. We are immensely grateful to have you in our lives.

What the heck is Farm Formal?

Answer

Great question! We'd never heard of it either, but once we did, it made sense for this venue. It's basically typical cocktail or semi-formal wedding attire, but with shoes that are appropriate for a rustic outdoor venue. In this case, aside from the concrete dance floor, almost all ground surfaces are gravel or dirt, so we suggest avoiding stilettos (block heels would be fine though) and recommend closed-toe footwear unless you enjoy shaking tiny rocks out of your shoes every 5 minutes. https://withjoy.com/blog/wedding-dress-codes-deciphered/#:~:text=Farm%20Formal
