Our story begins at the University of Houston, where we were both attending the School Of Business. A mutual friend introduced us to each other, and from there we became good friends. As time went on we grew closer and went from being just friends to best friends. We enjoyed going to school activities and sporting events together with our group of friends. Over the next year and a half, we began to notice how much we enjoyed spending time together and realized there could be something more…

In March of 2019, Josh asked Khushboo if she wanted to go on an afternoon walk in the park with his puppy, Finn. Khushboo could not say no to the chance of hanging out with the cutest boy there ever was (Finn…of course). After classes were over we went to Discovery Green Park in downtown Houston. During that afternoon walk Josh asked Khushboo to be his girlfriend, and we have been inseparable ever since. Over the course of the next two years we learned and grew together, started internships, graduated college, and began our post-grad careers!

They say “when you know you know”, and well… when we knew, we knew. Not long after graduating college, we knew we wanted to get our lives together started, and on June 19th of 2021 Josh asked Khushboo to marry him! Josh planned the entire day to a tee, he assigned Allyson, one of our close friends, to take Khushboo shopping and prepare for that evening’s surprise events. While he was busy planning the days events, Josh had even booked nail and hair salon appointments for Khushboo. That evening, Josh proposed to Khushboo in Discovery Green Park, where it all began. The evening was then celebrated with all of our closest friends and family, who were secretly waiting at a restaurant just walking distance from the proposal location.
