Patrick & I grew up in the same town of Oakdale! We both attended Oakdale High School in 2009/2010 during my Freshman year and Patrick’s Senior year. Despite this, our paths didn’t cross until Sept of 2017 where we both attended a funeral together. In 2021, I posted a photo of my new nephew on Facebook and Patrick messaged me to congratulate me on another addition to being an Auntie! Patrick & I both found a shared love of travel, adventure, art museums, the beach, lotsss of sarcasm, and movies! We never went a day without talking and set up a day for lunch together! That lunch turned into six hours at the restaurant talking and connecting on all things! Shortly after meeting, feelings were mutually brewing! After a four day trip together, we knew something special was ahead for us!

Patrick & I found an early shared love for South Lake Tahoe! Our first Valentine’s Day was spent at a very small intimate restaurant Cafe Fioré in S. Lake Tahoe! On our first date, we occupied one of only five tables for dinner service. Cafe Fioré quickly turned into a favorite place for Patrick & I. Making it a tradition, we returned to Tahoe to celebrate Valentine’s Day every year following! For Valentine’s Day in 2023, we headed up to S. Lake Tahoe for the weekend! On Valentine’s Day, we had plans to snow mobile in the snow! An early breakfast at our favorite spot, Heidi’s and then we were onto Snow Mobiling! Once at the top of the S. Lake Tahoe mountain, Patrick asked me to go to the edge of the mountain for a photo! Once in place, Patrick asked me to spend forever with him and I happily said YES!
