How We Met
Like any good modern love story, ours began... on Hinge. Yep, the app that claims to be “designed to be deleted.” Spoiler alert: they were right. I actually messaged Austin first (ladies, shoot your shot), inviting him out for a drink. He was out of town with his brother at the time, so we hit pause, but clearly the universe had other plans. When we finally did meet, he drove an hour to pick me up. Our first date was sushi in downtown Phoenix. No reservation, naturally, because Austin is a big fan of just winging it. We grabbed drinks before dinner, after dinner, and spent the night people-watching and laughing like we’d known each other forever. When he held my hand, and I remember thinking, Wait... is this really happening? Austin was charming, sarcastic, and somehow completely unbothered by my own sarcasm (a rare combo). The vibes? Immaculate. From there, we fell into a rhythm—seeing each other every third weekend, when my boys were with their dad. We lived an hour apart and had opposite work schedules, but none of that seemed to matter. Austin made the effort. Every time. He gave me butterflies... just when I thought that kind of magic was behind me. And now here we are—still winging it, still holding hands, still making each other laugh and growing our family.

Is there a dress code?

Our dress code is formal to semi-formal. For the guys: a suit, blazer, or button-down with slacks is perfect — we kindly ask that you skip the jeans. For the ladies: a dress, jumpsuit, or dressy separates will fit right in. We want everyone to feel comfortable and stylish as we celebrate together!

Heck yeah! We will be offering select wine, beer, and signature cocktails.

Are kids welcome?

We welcome your little ones! We just ask that you keep a close eye on them and remove them from the ceremony if they are disruptive.

We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos of the rest of the night!

What happens after the ceremony?

After we say “I do,” we welcome you to join us for cocktail hour where we will serve beer, wine, cocktails, and light hors d’oeuvres.
