Things To Do
Visit Glacier National Park
Vehicle reservations end after Labor Day, so you'll have no trouble getting into the park! Enjoy hiking, kayaking, epic photoshoots and more. We also highly recommend a sunrise car ride up Going-to-the-Sun road!
Check out Whitefish Mountain
Want to see our mountain? Take a ride on the free S.N.O.W. bus (with stops at several local hotels) to Base Lodge. You can hike or take the scenic lift ride up to the Summit! Just be sure to check the website link below for summer hours and activities.
Shop in Downtown Whitefish
Whitefish boasts a variety of locally-owned boutiques and art galleries. A few of our favorite places to shop: The Toggery, Sage & Cedar, and Mums. You'll also find plenty of unique hiking and snow gear, locally-made jewelry, and huckleberry everything!
Grab a Drink
First, we'd be remiss to not recommend a stop at the Blue Moon on your way into town from the airport. It's quite possibly the biggest "Welcome to Montana" moment we could give you! And a few of our favorite spots to grab a drink in downtown Whitefish? Unleashed Winery (locally produced wines, owned by our good friend Nicole!); The Great Northern (a local favorite, great for watching sports or a playing a round of pool); Spotted Bear Spirits (local distillery with gorgeous craft cocktails); and Bulldog Saloon (low-key sports bar with amazing burgers + wings!)
