One sunny afternoon in Lynwood, California, I was just a freshman in high school when I saw him—the guy with the most handsome face I’d ever seen. He was crossing the street and slipped into a red classic Mustang. Just like that, he was gone. We didn’t speak. We didn’t meet. But that image stayed with me. Sometime later, I told a neighbor about the cute boy I’d seen at school, and as fate would have it, he told me he’d be at a local club. I gathered the troops and off we went. Our paths crossed again, and this time, I slipped him my number—yes, on an actual piece of paper. From there, we shared some unforgettable moments—mainly on dance floors, where we felt most ourselves. But life had other plans, and eventually we drifted apart. Years later, Facebook worked its magic and brought us back into each other’s orbit—this time, at the right time. In 2010, we reunited (naturally, at a club), and everything just clicked. Since then, we've danced through life together—laughing, loving, growing, and becoming each other’s best friend. Now, we’re ready to wrap this beautiful journey in a big bow and make it officially official. We can't wait to share this incredible day with all of you!
