Maid of Honor
Michelle is Caroline's closest friend from her stint in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, where they both worked as behavior therapists. Before Caroline moved back to Virginia, they had become attached at the hip, even showing up in the same outfit an embarrassing amount of times, proving they might actually share a brain. Although they live states away, their bond remains just as strong, thanks to weekly phone calls!
Bridesmaid
Heidi is Caroline's cousin by title, but more like a big sister. Growing up, Caroline would look up to her. She has been the advice-giver, hair and makeup artist, and director/choreographer for many "productions" they performed in front of family, some being proudly recorded. As home videos have been such a staple in family memories, it only seemed right to continue the tradition. Heidi will be documenting all the fun during the big day!
Bridesmaid
Another cousin also playing more of a sister role to Caroline is Nancy Carrie, Heidi's younger sister. Caroline and Nancy Carrie grew up making music videos, going to cheer camp, obsessing over American Idol, and even recording their own episode of Hannah Montana. While she went on to perform in New York City, Nancy Carrie and Caroline haven't stopped cheering each other on for each of their respective spotlights.
Bridesmaid
Danielle and Caroline became lifelong friends after living together in Jacksonville, FL, where they both attended the University of North Florida (Swoop!). Ask either one of them and you'll hear some of the most hilarious stories from their time living together, as they strived to make "good college memories" they would laugh at and cherish forever, and they definitely fulfilled that.
Bridesmaid
Hannah is Caroline's sister-in-law, who has, over the years, became much more like a real sister and forever friend. Somewhere along the way, she's taken the spot of Huck, Caroline's brother, on many family trips (to Huck's delight!), most notably to Mexico and Disney, giving them a chance to bond. Hannah and Huck have also welcomed the sweetest girl, Heidi, and officially made Caroline an aunt!
Bridesmaid
Emily is Caroline's longest friendship. She grew up just across the street from Caroline's grandparents. With their families already being great friends, it naturally carried over to Emily and Caroline, who are continuing that bond. Since Emily moved from Harrisonburg to Richmond, it provides for more adventures and happy hours!
Best Man
Steven and Isaac met early on in their military careers when they were placed in the same class. They instantly clicked, realizing they had a lot in common. Over the years, they have bonded through going to the gym, church, or just simply hanging out. Steven is outgoing, loyal, trustworthy, and brings the energy, which translates well in his important role!
Groomsman
Isaac met Huck, Caroline's brother, naturally just being around the family. While both Huck and Isaac share a similar solitary demeanor, they've also found common ground and love for sports debates. Through countless Blauvelt family events, vacations, and gatherings, what began as quiet understanding has grown into a friendship rooted in mutual respect and shared time together.
Groomsman
Robert and Isaac met playing high school football. Growing up in Maine, they would spend summers together swimming, skateboarding, being active, and playing football. Although he now lives across the country and both in different time zones, Robert and Isaac have continued to stay in touch, which speaks volumes to their friendship.
Groomsman
***Unfortunately, with military orders, Samuel will not be able to attend. Please send prayers for safety.*** Samuel and Isaac met during their training in the military, but became close when they got stationed at the same base. Their past times were playing basketball and exploring their new city. If their bond could survive barracks living, it's solid.
Groomsman
Devon is Isaac's older brother. Growing up, they would play video games together and do what brothers do best, roughhouse, all while creating lifelong memories. Over the years, their bond has matured and now serves as more of a support system. It's no question that Devon will be there supporting Isaac on his big day!
Groomsman
Isaac met Ronya while they were both stationed together in the Army at Fort Myer. After attending an Army school together and getting to know one another, their friendship quickly grew. Whether going to local pubs or each other's houses to watch sports, they've shared some great memories. Today, their bond is just as strong as it is entertaining.
Groomsman
Isaac and Gentry met through the military and immediately clicked. Spending so many hours together working in the same office, they soon created a bond that led its way outside of work. Most of their time together involves laughter and good memories while striving to build each other up.
