BUS DETAILS FOR PASSENGERS

BEFORE WEDDING: The bus will be at Burleigh Town Hotel at 1pm (corner of Tsipura Dr, Burleigh Heads). You can catch an Uber or drive to Burleigh Town Hotel, there will be heaps of parking and people often leave their cars there overnight. Also a good spot for a pre-wedding bev. Please be there at 1pm for a 1:15pm departure. AFTER WEDDING: The bus will be ready to take guests home from our wedding venue at 11pm.

On Sunday 8th, we will have a recovery session for whoever is keen to spend a little extra time together. Location: Burleigh Town Hotel (same place as where the bus is picking up and dropping off). Anytime from 1pm.

How do I get to Coolibah Downs? Is there transport?

Answer

Coolibah Downs is approximately 25-30 minutes from central Gold Coast (e.g., 30 minutes from Burleigh). The bus will be leaving from Burleigh Town Hotel at 1:15 pm. Address: Corner of Tsipura Dr, Burleigh Heads. There is a large car park, and those travelling on the bus will be advised where the bus will be located. You can leave a car there if needed. The bus will take guests home from the wedding venue at 11:00 pm-ish. Guests may choose to arrange their own transportation if desired. Free on-site parking at the venue is available.

What colours should I avoid wearing?

Answer

No white or champagne/gold colours for the ladies. The ceremony is on grass, and we want to boogie the night away with you, so keep this in mind for shoes.

Do I bring a gift?

Answer

Your presence is our present! We do not expect gifts, just a lovely card we can look back on. However, we know some of you will be hell-bent on gifting! So, if you'd like to leave us a card or gift, we will have a wishing well available.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We're planning an intimate celebration with just our immediate nieces and nephews attending. We'd love for you to take this opportunity to relax and let your hair down with us, and due to the capacity of attendees, we have decided it's best to leave the little ones with a loved one. If this is going to be difficult, please let one of us know.
