Amanda and Camryn met in 2022 when they began graduate school together at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for School Psychology. They published Pruebas Publicadas en Español through their assistantship together at Buros Center for Testing. They have seen New Orleans and Los Angeles together and Amanda has witnessed Camryn’s flight anxiety very personally. Amanda is truly Camryn’s sister from another mister, and no one can guess what she is thinking better. They share a love for brine and pickled foods, coffee, thrifting, and gummy candy!
Ben Bevins
Best Man
It's hard to believe Jacob and Ben met the summer before 1st grade! Developing their friendship through shared classrooms in Cavett Elementary School, their friendship remained through Cub and Boy Scouts, jazz band, show band, and marching band, and continued through college where they discovered how to live life as an adult while renting a house off campus. They share a love of the outdoors, Husker sports, and existential conversations. Ben is a great friend, to say the least; Jacob is so appreciative to have Ben as his best man on this special day!

Hannah and Camryn met in 2022 when they began graduate school together at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for School Psychology. Both working to earn their Ed.S., they shared most classes throughout the duration of the program, and Camryn truly could not have made it through without Hannah! Camryn cherished the many afternoons spent with Hannah going shopping or getting lunch between their classes, and Hannah always knew how to help Camryn step back and see the bright side of every situation. Camryn got a chance to experience Hannah’s hometown last summer! They share a love for sub sandwiches, converse, and reading by a body of water!

It won't come as a surprise that Dylan met Jacob the moment Jacob was born! Jacob is fortunate to have an older brother to look up to and learn from throughout his life. Besides learning a lot from his older brother, words can't express how appreciative Jacob is for having a friend through his brother in his childhood years. While they don't see each other as often as when they lived under the same roof, Jacob cherishes the time spent with his brother to this day and is overjoyed to see the life Dylan has created for himself. Jacob can't wait to continue to grow his relationship with his older brother, throughout the rest of their lives.
Makayla Reavis

Makayla and Camryn met in 2020 when Makayla joined Kappa chapter of the sorority Delta Delta Delta at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. While it did not happen traditionally, Camryn was ecstatic to become Makayla’s big sister when by a series of events she had lost both of her little sisters and Makayla had lost her big sister! Camryn and Makayla bonded during the COVID-19 shut down, during which they took an online watercolor class together. It truly gave Camryn joy to connect over art with Makayla weekly during such an isolating time. They share a love of art, still woozy, and being short!
Matt Andersen

Matt and Jacob actually first met through Ben, in Jacob's elementary school years. Later getting to know Matt through band and Matt and Dylan's friendship, Jacob has always looked up to Matt. Matt is caring, friendly, hilarious, and gives great advice. Getting to know Matt closer as Dylan and Matt grew their relationship into a marriage has truly been a privilege for Jacob to experience, and being able to call Matt his brother-in-law is a bonus!
Lucy Okrasinski

Lucy and Camryn met in 2022 when Camryn joined Lucy’s graduate program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for School Psychology. Lucy was assigned as Camryn’s mentor, and while the connection was not immediate- it was deep! Camryn finds a kindred spirit within Lucy and appreciates her passionate spirit and outspokenness! Lucy guided Camryn through many trials and tribulations and was always there to provide words of wisdom. Camryn loves Lucy’s cat Skippy and misses him very much (and I guess Lucy too) since Lucy moved back home to the Chicago area to complete her first year as a practicing School Psychologist. They share a love of cats, yapping, and Meg thee Stallion!
Justin Syring

Justin and Jacob first met in college, through a non-profit called Students Together Against Cancer. As they got to know each other in this group and shared biology classes, Jacob convinced Justin to move into their rental house with Ben and their friend Zach for their senior year of college. This allowed them to truly develop their friendship (and have their fair share of nights out as college students). It's in Jacob's opinion that he sparked Justin's love of cats! Jacob is so appreciative to have Justin and Justin's rockstar wife Megan attend his special day.
Emma Bragg

Emma and Camryn met in 2022 when Camryn joined Emma’s graduate program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for School Psychology. While Emma was not Camryn’s quote un quote mentor, she was best friends with her mentor, and thus took on a mentor-ly role! Camryn appreciated the chance to shadow Emma in her internship placement and aspires to be as knowledgeable as Emma one day! One of Camryn’s fondest memories with Emma is of running laps around the block with Tavern on the Square one hot summer day in jean shorts after a few vodka cranberries! Camryn appreciates Emma’s spontaneous happy go lucky approach to life. They share a love of jean jokes, Baby Keem, and dirty soda!
Garrett Bell

Garrett and Jacob met in elementary school, remaining close friends through college and of course to the present day. Garrett and Jacob share a love of pickleball, fantasy books, and adrenaline activities. Garrett is a kind soul and a great friend. Jacob is honored to have Garrett standing up with him on his special day!
