In the warmth of the Maui breeze, we celebrated our intimate backyard wedding surrounded by love, laughter, and the people closest to our hearts. The ceremony took place at our cozy Airbnb, filled with a warm, buzzing energy that perfectly reflected the 13 years of love and partnership that have brought us to this moment. Natalie, did a phenomenal job officiating, sharing our story from the dance floor of our senior year of high school, where we first met dancing like robots, to building a life together across three cities and now calling Portland home with our pup, Rue. After the ceremony, we captured photos that reflected not only the beauty of the evening but also the love surrounding us from our parents and siblings. A private local chef prepared an incredible dinner, and Camilla finally got to enjoy her well-earned beer after a month of wedding prep! As the night continued, we danced under the moonlight to the sound of the ocean waves, jumped into the pool, yes, still in our wedding dress and suit and even welcomed an unexpected wedding crasher from next door. Safe to say we had it all! While we wish all our family and friends could have been there to celebrate with us in person, we carry your love and support with us always. After our wedding, we set off on an unforgettable adventure: our honeymoon in Japan! We spent ten incredible days exploring a new country, experiencing its vibrant culture, and creating memories we’ll cherish forever. From walking the lively, colorful streets of Tokyo to finding peace at the tranquil shrines of Kyoto, and nearly stepping into the ring with sumo wrestlers in Osaka, every moment felt like a dream. The warmth and kindness of the locals made the trip even more special — so many people celebrated alongside us once they heard we were newlyweds. Camilla finally got to experience the food tour of her dreams, tasting everything from eel and uni to perfectly marbled A5 wagyu. Meanwhile, Spencer lived out one of his bucket-list moments at a Tokyo Swallows baseball game, where we cheered the night away with the fans. It’s safe to say, we couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate the start of our next chapter as husband and wife. Japan gave us everything — laughter, adventure, and memories that will stay with us forever.
