How We Met
Our story began in the most unexpected way. One summer day, I was relaxing at the pool at The Grove Apartment complex when Cameron, walking his dog, caught my attention. He mustered up the courage to ask me to come over and chat. As we talked, he sweetly asked me questions about myself, and before I knew it, he handed me his number with a smile and said, "Here, take my number." A couple of weeks later, I decided to reach out, and we made plans for our first date on June 27th, 2019, in downtown Greensboro. We grabbed Italian ice and found a bench in the park, where we talked for hours—laughing and getting to know one another in a way we never had before. It was that moment when we both realized that this was just the beginning of something beautiful. As we continued to spend time together, we discovered something incredible: we had unknowingly been around each other our entire lives. Our paths had crossed countless times before, yet we had never actually met. It felt like we were always meant to find each other—like the universe had been slowly drawing us together all along. The "Invisible String" theory couldn’t have been more true for us. Fast forward five years, and on July 27th, 2024, Cameron got down on one knee and asked me the most important question of our lives: “Will you marry me?” Of course, I said yes! Now, we are beyond excited to continue this journey of love together, united in a bond that feels like it was always meant to be. We can’t wait to share this next chapter with all of you.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Please plan to arrive early, as doors will open at 4:30 PM to allow ample time for seating. We kindly ask all guests to be seated by 4:45 PM, as we will start the ceremony on time.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
To ensure all our guests can fully enjoy the evening, we kindly request that this be an adults-only celebration. While we love your little ones, we’re excited to have a night to celebrate with just the grown-ups. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can join us for a fun and memorable evening!

Can I bring a date?

As much as we'd love to invite everyone, we kindly ask that you respect our guest list and refrain from bringing extra guests unless they have been specifically invited.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Parking for the ceremony and reception will be available behind The Grace Barn. Look for the signage directing you to the parking area. To make your arrival as easy as possible, parking attendants will be on hand to assist and guide you, and golf carts will be available to shuttle guests to the venue entrance. We want to ensure your experience is smooth and convenient, so please don't hesitate to ask if you need assistance!

Is there a dress code?

In celebration of this special occasion, we kindly request that guests wear a color within our color palette, which will be provided on the invitation. Black tie is optional. Additionally, to ensure all guests have a clear view during the ceremony, we kindly ask that hats be left at home. We look forward to celebrating with you in style!

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?
Answer
We kindly ask that you refrain from using phones, cameras, or other devices during the ceremony. We have hired a wonderful photographer and videographer who will be capturing all of the special moments, so we ask that you simply enjoy the experience and be present with us. Your understanding and cooperation mean the world to us!
