Our Story

Hannah and Cameron met for the first time when at Texas A&M in 2021 when our friend Dan invited a group from a social organization to Cameron and Dan's house. Although we did not talk much that night we had no idea what the Lord had in store for us. Over the next two years, we knew of each other but our paths never crossed. Our mutual friends kept saying that we would make a great match, but nothing happened until Cameron asked Hannah to go on a date with him just a few weeks before graduating. Our first date was at Harvest Coffee in Downtown Bryan in April (even though Cameron doesn’t drink coffee!). After a few more dates in the Bryan-College Station area, Hannah finished her last finals and Cameron graduated. Fortunately, both of us were headed to the Dallas area next; Hannah for her summer internship, and Cameron for his full-time job. We enjoyed a summer full of fun dates and good times while we were still in the same area. Once Hannah returned to College Station for her senior year, we began what would become 9 months of long-distance. Being three hours apart was not easy, but we grew even closer and made the most of our weekend visits. Some of our sweetest memories were during this season, but when Hannah graduated and would be heading back to Dallas to start her full-time job, we were both very excited. Since Hannah's move to Dallas, we have loved getting to build our life in the same city. We enjoyed getting to spend lots of time together and enjoy all of life's moments together, both big and small. We got plugged in to a great church, where we love our community and serving in the preschool ministry. As the relationship grew, it was clear to both of us that the Lord had placed us in each other's lives to get married. In May of 2025, Cameron proposed to Hannah at the Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens in Houston. Beforehand, we went to an Italian restaurant for homemade pasta (Hannah’s favorite)—and then walked through the gardens, where Cameron proposed. After the proposal, we returned Hannah’s childhood home for a huge celebration with family and friends. He thought of everything: her favorite flowers, colors, desserts, snacks, and even her Grandpa’s homemade BBQ and sauce. It was the most special day of our lives and a celebration of all that is to come! Since then, we have stayed busy buying our first home together in Plano! Hannah has moved in and is counting down the days until we get married and Cameron will move in. We know the Lord has blessed us so greatly, and we can't wait to enter the best promise on this side of Heaven. We have been praying over our marriage for a long time and cannot wait to glorify the Lord through our marriage. "So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate." - Matthew 19:6
