We’ve come a long way from 6th grade Tinseltown dates! Fast forward through high school, LSU, and a “by chance” weekend in New Orleans together and here we are, 3 years later. Landing in Houston during a hurricane wasn’t ideal, but all of the adventures, friendships, and memories have been so worth it! We struggled with the idea of a traditional wedding or smaller ceremony abroad, so we are aiming for something in between! Though Houston is our home now, we are headed to Costa Rica to celebrate and have a small, casual ceremony in New Orleans for some vows, music, hors d'oeuvres and fun with everyone. As most of our family is still in North Louisiana, New Orleans is extra special to us, and will hopefully be a great time and place to enjoy. So we truly appreciate any time, travel, or well wishes if you are not able to attend, while we celebrate such an exciting and special time in our lives!
6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Casual crawfish
Please join us for crawfish and sunset on the bayou! Bathrooms and additional refreshments and bites available at the Pediscalzo Home, 3622 Dumaine street. Michel and her parents, Renee & Phil, are the best hosts and Kings and Queens of everything Nola!
2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Semi Formal/Cocktail Attire
The Ceremony will be light and quick proceeded by a "Happy Hour" style reception and music in the Courtyard. Dress comfortably for a mid-day celebration with After Party in mind!

We will keep you up to date on welcome plans for Friday! It will likely be on the bayou for sunset and is weather dependent so we are looking into these options.
Friday Night: stay tuned for these updates! But street parking is likely the option for an outdoor welcome gathering or uber if you prefer a worry free option Saturday: Per the venue, "We can offer event parking for guests and vendors coming just to the event, we should be able to offer at least 25-30 spots, event parking is $20 plus tax. Our parking garage is under the hotel. Overnight valet is $45 plus tax." Street parking may also be an option but this is a more crowded area so we suggest Ubering, again, if you do not want to deal with it. Please be mindful of any belongings left in the car and in sight!
The ceremony, etc will be outside in the courtyard but there will be an indoor bar during the transition after the ceremony! Additionally, for any unpleasant weather, there will be a tent placed in the courtyard.
We do recommend checking out our blocks at following hotels with great access to the trolley and convenient to other nearby activities: The Hilton Riverside on Poydras or the Hampton Inn on Canal. We have provided more information and links if you would like to access them. Maison Dupuy has offered us a block on site as well if interested.
We celebrated our Engagement here as well as one of our first dates in New Orleans <3 Great oysters and cocktails for a patio lunch or dinner!
Best Brunch in Nola! Prepare for a long wait unless you beat the crowd early.
Great option to order to go for The Fly or by the bayou!
Another great option to order and bring to Friday Festivities or for great Pizza, etc at any time! One of my favorite spots and their 'nicer' Italian spot downtown (just Domenica) is a fantastic dinner and great cocktails in the hotel bar as well!
Fantastic Sandwich/Salad/endless cheeses and wine spot! Our OG, with multiple locations now in the CBD as well! Great option for quick bite to go or during/after Friday Festivities!
Great margs, tacos, etc! Cute and casual, may get busy but usually bar seating and a walk up cocktail window for ordering as well
One of the best “everything” spots: poboys, pizzas, oysters, whatever you want! Great atmosphere if you’re looking for something low key and easy but delicious.
Irish coffee or bust! Great dive bar otherwise
Cool art/history of New Orleans! Whimsical and fun solo, with a group, or family. Look them up for location (Bywater area), pricing, and availability
I am almost positive we will end up singing along at the Piano Bar here at some point in the weekend, likely trekking this way during the After Party!
I think Hayden dreams of this place at night. Great BBQ and environment (also in Midcity)!
Both the New Orleans Zoo & Aquariums are so fun! We'd say a great time at any age
New Orleans staple - great diner/bar only seating for late night or burger, etc
Best poboys in town (Midcity), be prepared to wait in a line but typically moves along!
Cute for wine & dining on busy Poydras near Superdome. Courtyard for outside seating as well
Great seafood option in CBD
If you are on the go and need a quick taco, this is the place! Chipotle style ordering (build your own, down the line) Multiple locations too
If you are looking to avoid Bourbon but still want some fun, this is the more low key/local spot. Usually live music throughout the day and whatnot with bars and restaurants that gear up at night!
There are multiple locations (just “Toast” uptown or in Gentilly) but a top tier breakfast or brunch spot!
Casual dim sum spot! You can come a little hungry or a lot, we recommend just ordering a bit at a time until you are happy (or stuffed)!
