Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask that you dress formal/semi-formal. For example: Dress pants and button-up shirts for men. Modest dresses, pant suits, blouses, and dress pants for women.

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests that are included in your invitation/RSVP card. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your RSVP card.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We hope you understand that our wedding will be kid-free, besides those participating in the wedding and immediate family that have been included on the RSVP cards.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a lot of parking provided at the venue.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:00 pm. You will need to be there and seated by 3:50. You will not be seated once the ceremony has begun.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There is a Holiday Inn in both Litchfield and Vandalia and a Comfort Inn & Suites in Greenville.

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and cameras be put away and turned to silent/off during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and we'd hate to have a person's phone or camera blocking that moment for our photographer to capture. After the ceremony and exit, please feel free to take as many photos as you want and share them with us!

Will there be alcohol?

Yes. We will have a limited bar that supplies beer, seltzers, & two specialty drinks. There will be no hard liquor other than the two specialty drinks. Our venue allows guests to bring their own alcohol, so feel free to BYOB.

What if I don't RSVP by the deadline?

Answer

If we do not receive an RSVP from you by our April 19th deadline, you will be marked "not attending". This is because we must provide accurate numbers to our venue and caterers for seating, alcohol, and food purposes!

Are there any colors we should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams. As well as champagne/gold and dusty blue reserved for the wedding party.
