Caitie's Version: Growing up, whenever I would get lonely, I used to think about how my future husband was growing up somewhere at that moment to. I used to wonder what they were doing and when I would meet them. Well I finally did :) It's a rainy Saturday in March of 2022. It's 8PM & my roommate, Jess, invited me to meet up with a few of her friends. Instead of wallowing in my post vacation blues having just returned the night before from the beach, I decided last minute to go just for just a little bit. Walking to the rooftop of Takoda to meet them, I immediately saw Nam and thought to myself that he was pretty special. It wasn't until I got to talking to him that I realized just how special he was. By the end of the night, I knew that my life had just changed. In the most random place, at the most random time, was my person. They say when you know, you know, and I knew. Nam's Version: We met in Washington, DC, through our mutual friends (Hi Jess and Candice 👋) We struck up a conversation and I was initially nervous at first but watching her smile helped me become comfortable with talking. After that, we starting meeting regularly, exploring new places, sharing anazing memories and countless laughs and before long I realized she is the one I want to be with forever.

When should I RSVP by?

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?
Answer
Yes! The ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue and there is plenty of parking. However, if you are going to consume alcohol at our wedding please plan on having a sober designated driver or taking an Uber back to your lodging. We adore you all and want to keep you safe!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30PM. Please plan to arrive 20 minutes prior so you can be seated by the time we begin. Don't worry, welcome beverages & fans will be provided to beat the August heat!

Yes! If you have kids, their name was included on your invitation to join us in celebrating our day. Kids will receive a special kids meal so please make sure to include them on your RSVP <3

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
Yes, every Sunday the Bellevue State Park has a live music concert. Please make sure that you are parking at the Bellevue Hall venue and not the Bellevue State Park. The venue address is: 901 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE 19809 & the parking lot is located directly next to the venue.

When do I need to book a hotel by to use the block rate?
Answer
Any hotels being booked using the block rate must be booked by 6/30/2025. Please be sure to read the cancelation policy and breakfast policy on any hotel rooms before you reserve them.
