Why did we choose Harvey House?

Answer

We had already loved Idyllwild from being introduced to this small mountain town on a rock climbing trip. We fell in love with the climbing first, then we spent more time in the town and were enchanted by its small mountain town charm. We love the green trees and the fresh alpine air, not to mention it is one of our favorite places to climb. We found Harvey House and it was everything we were looking for!

Idyllwild is a small mountain town with a cool art scene. It is extremely walkable and friendly. Everything is centered around a town square; a stone’s throw away from Harvey House.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Cocktail attire is requested—suits or dressy separates for men, and cocktail dresses or chic jumpsuits for women. Bright and fun colors are encouraged. Aloha attire is also welcomed! For those planning on wearing heels, a block heel will be better suited for the outdoor terrain where the ceremony and dinner will be taking place.

Idyllwild is a small mountain town that requires driving into. There are 3 airports in surrounding cities including: Palm Springs International Airport (1 - 1.5 hours drive away) San Diego International Airport (2 - 2.5 hours drive away) Los Angeles International Airport (2.5 hours drive away) There will be many guests driving to Idyllwild from San Diego if you would like to coordinate carpooling. If you are flying into San Diego, consider renting a car or carpooling.

Harvey House will have a shuttle bringing guests to and from a limited space parking lot off site in Idyllwild, CA. For guests staying on-site, there will be parking provided. For guests staying off-site, consider utilizing the shuttle service as there will be limited spaces available at the venue. Shuttle service details will be provided here soon.
