Their First Date
Caeley had arrived in Virginia Beach to meet Devon for the first time in person after months of talking online. Devon took her for a tour of oceanfront and went for a barefoot walk on the beach. While walking on the beach, a shirtless elderly man approached Devon. He saw a Naval ship out in the distance, the man was fascinated by the ship. Devon was in the Navy at the time and sparked up a conversation with the man about the type of ship it was and where it might be headed. The man got very close behind Devon, propped up his camera on Devon’s shoulder using him to hold the camera steady for pictures of the ship. Devon looked horrified and Caeley stood in the distance cackling at the awkward moment she was watching unfold in front of her.

What’s the dress code?
Answer
Wedding rule #1 DO NOT wear white unless you’re the bride. Ladies, please refrain from wearing any white, ivory, or champagne tones. As the saying goes, 'If you look great, you feel great!' Please wear what makes you happy while being appropriate for the occasion. Not sure what to wear? Dressy Casual can best describe our dress code. Please keep in mind, our ceremony and reception will be held outside in October. The weather can change drastically after sunset, make sure to bring along outerwear if you think you’ll need it to be comfortable.

Our venue has a strict guest count, unless a plus one is specified on your invite, only the names listed are included on the guest list.

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive about 30 minutes prior to our ceremony beginning at 3pm for parking, and seating with time to spare.
