This intimate party is a celebration of us and you, our community. Rather than a traditional wedding ceremony, please expect a dinner party with music and toasts throughout the evening. We promise excellent company and lots of fun.

Please wear what makes you feel comfortable and pretty. We suggest wearing your most fun & hip summer cocktail attire. Ideally when strangers see us out, we want them to say "Who are these fabulous people and where are they going?!"

Yes, kids are welcome. We will note that the industrial venue and timeline isn't super child friendly. However, we trust you to make the best call for you and your family. If you plan on bringing the tiny bundle as a plus one, please let us know by July 1st so we can plan accordingly.

Dinner is a taco buffet from Lonesome Rose and should account for most dietary specifications. If you have a specific concern, please let us know. You can view of sample of the menu here: lonesomerose.com. Provided drinks will include n/a options, beer, wine and a champagne toast.

What is the best mode of transportation to get to the party?

We recommend taking a cab for ease, though there is ample street parking near the venues. Both are centrally located in the city and a few blocks from the highway. The Charcoal Factory entrance is in the alley.

What can I expect if I attend the optional Saturday lake picnic?

Our post celebration lake picnic is weather contingent & casual. We will have a tent, light snacks, and games. Please BYO lake supplies and additional food & beverage. If you are local, please BYO folding chair too! Waveland Park is grass and concrete, not a beach. Though you can still swim if you don't mind jumping in! It has nearby tennis courts, golf, a bird sanctuary, walking paths, and public restrooms. Paid parking is available in adjacent lots off Recreation Drive between Irving Park and Addison. We recommend either carpooling or taking a cab. If you are feeling extra active, you can walk the Lake Shore Path or rent a bike.
