How we met
Our Story Some love stories begin with a grand gesture. Ours began in the halls of Grandview Medical Center. We were just two surgical techs passing each other in scrubs, never guessing that forever was quietly waiting between sterile trays and busy shifts. Byron noticed Miracle first—long before she even knew he was watching. From the very first moment, he felt it in his heart: *she was meant to be in his life.* But instead of making the first move, he sent coworkers on secret missions to find out if she was single and quietly worked up the courage to one day make his introduction. Fate, however, had its own plans. One ordinary day, Miracle “fell sick” at work (or so she claimed 😉). A coworker went for help and returned with none other than Byron. He saw his opening, brought her water, and checked on her like a true gentleman. That small act of kindness was the spark that finally brought them together. From that moment, conversations grew effortless. What started as quick words during busy shifts turned into something deeper. Their first date sealed it—hours passed like minutes as they laughed, talked, and realized they had found not just love, but a best friend. By the end of the night, they both knew this was the beginning of something extraordinary. Since then, Byron and Miracle have been inseparable. Their bond is a blend of laughter, loyalty, and a love that feels like home. From stolen glances in the operating room to planning a lifetime side by side, their story is a reminder that sometimes love doesn’t arrive with fireworks—it sneaks up on you in the most ordinary, beautiful moments.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
All black attire. Dress to impress! Gentlemen, a suit and tie or dress shirt with slacks is perfect. Ladies, cocktail dresses, floor length dress, or dressy separates. We kindly ask that no one wear white (that color is reserved for the bride!) or jeans. Thank you so much for helping us make the day special.”

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
To help us with our final preparations, please RSVP by Saturday February 1st, 2026. If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided it will be marked “No" and we’ll have to assume you’re unable to join us, and unfortunately we won’t be able to add you later. We’re so excited to celebrate with everyone who can make it!

Can I bring a plus one?

In order to keep our wedding intimate as possible, we kindly ask that only the guest listed on your RSVP attend. Your personalized RSVP page will show whether a plus-one has been reserved for you

What if I don’t RSVP in time?
Answer
If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided it will automatically be marked as "no". We will miss celebrating with you but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive?
Answer
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking, grab a drink, and to be seated. Once the ceremony begins, no entrance will be granted until after the ceremony.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes! There will be beer and wine served before the ceremony, during cocktail hour and dinner, as well as the party! Drinks on us! Please drink responsibly and drive home safely!

Is there a registry?
Answer
We will be accepting monetary gifts and contributions toward our honeymoon fund! There is a section on our site under registry listed as “Our Honeymoon Fund” or you’re more than welcome to bring cards and gifts to the wedding. There will be a table designated for cards and gifts.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We would love for you to capture the day right along with us! Feel free to take photos and videos during the ceremony and reception—we can’t wait to see the memories from your point of view. There will be a photographer present so we do ask that you not block him from doing his job. Please share with us by texting us or tagging us on social media with the hashtag #WallsToWilliams. Blow our phones up—we want it all!
