Travel

Thank you for being apart of our special day! We're aware that travel during the holidays can be tricky so we want to give you some options early. The wedding will be at Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA. We'll have some events and things to do throughout the weekend. If you're flying into town you may be well served by a rental car. We will not have a block for our wedding weekend to allow our loved ones to book accommodations that suit their budgets/needs.

Hotel

Beauport Hotel Gloucester

55 Commercial Street, Gloucester, MA 01930

This is where the bridal party will be staying! The bride and groom first met at this hotel and wanted to return back to where their love story began. The after party will also be at a bar nearby so if you're interested in partying a little longer with us this might be the option for you! When you book mention that you’ll be attending the Byrd/Lombardo Wedding!

Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Jasmine Byrd and Michael Lombardo
During your stay in the greater Boston area we want to share a couple places Jasmine and Michael recommend during your stay.
Gloucester

Gloucester

Gloucester, MA

A very beautiful location to stay in on the wedding weekend. Plenty of good restaurants, and bars to go to. Also right by the Beauport hotel (wedding party hotel).

Salem

Salem

Salem, MA

Historic and legendary Salem, MA is only a 25-30 minute drive from our venue. Such a cool and unique city. Fun little shops, and also plenty of hotels to stay at during your trip. Salem is about a 30 minute drive to Boston (not counting traffic of course). But a fun city.

North End

North End

Boston, MA

One of the more iconic neighborhoods in the Boston area is the North End. Great coffeeshop, bars, pastry shops, and restaurants. Even though it will be a little chilly it's a short walk from the T Line, and everything is next to each other.

Boston Common

Boston Common

139 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02111

Even with this being a December wedding we encourage everyone to take a stroll in the Boston Common and Public Garden. Lots of beautiful scenic views, and monuments. Check out the famous "Make Way For Ducklings" sculpture, or the famous Robin Williams bench from Good Will Hunting, or the newly erected MLK memorial stature.

Boston Public Library - Central Library

Boston Public Library - Central Library

700 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02116

One of the best public libraries in the country is the Boston Public Library. Beautiful architecture, and stunning rooms to check out. Would recommend a checking out this whole area around Boylston street. The square is a pretty area, and the Boston Marathon finish line is right there. Also lots of shops and restaurants.

TD Garden

TD Garden

100 Legends Way, Boston, MA 02114

It will be the beginning of the NBA and NHL season at the time of our wedding, and if you're looking for a sporting event to go to this would be a good time. Boston is a well known sports town, and they love their Bruins and Celtics. Highly recommend going to one of the games. Also there is a lot of places to grab a drink or bite in walking distance of the Garden

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

25 Evans Way, Boston, MA 02115

One of the coolest and most unique museums in the Boston area is the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Definitely worth checking out. I would by your tickets in advance if you plan on going on the weekend.

Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

465 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02115

Boston's MFA is highly recommended if you are looking for something to check out.

Somerville Theatre

Somerville Theatre

55 Davis Square, Somerville, MA 02144

Michael be an ex-theatre employee would recommend going to the Somerville Movie Theatre. An incredible venue, in Davis Square. They show a lot of cult classics, and there is also a bad art museum in the theatre. Cool place if you're to watch a film. Also a lot of spots to get coffee or some food.

Coolidge Corner Theatre

Coolidge Corner Theatre

290 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA 02446

Another awesome Theatre to catch a great movie at.

Crow's Nest

Crow's Nest

334 Main Street, Gloucester, MA 01930

A fun spot Jasmine and Michael would recommend going to after the reception is over. It's walk, or small Uber ride to the wedding party hotel. Grab a drink with the wedding party.

The Modern Butcher

The Modern Butcher

36 Maple Street, Danvers, MA 01923

Jasmine and Michael would recommend joining them Saturday morning to enjoy Modern Butcher's incredible roast beef. One of a kind sandwich.

Little Wolf Coffee

Little Wolf Coffee

129 High Street, Ipswich, MA 01938

Looking for a coffee spot in between our venue and our hotel. Then hit up Little Wolf, fantastic spot recommended by the coffee enthusiast Jasmine!

Bob's Italian Foods

Bob's Italian Foods

324 Main Street, Medford, MA 02155

One of Michael's favorite places to go to is Bob's Italian Market in Medford. It is right down the road from Jasmine, and Michael's apartment. Good for something to eat and take home, or grab something to bring back to your Airbnb or Hotel. They make sandwich's that are amazing in the back. 1 regular size sub can feed two people.

Colette Bakery

Colette Bakery

509 Main Street, Medford, MA 02155

Right by Jasmine and Michael's apartment is Colette bakery. Perfect for a coffee and French pastry.

Belle Isle Seafood

Belle Isle Seafood

1 Main Street, Winthrop, MA 02152

If you are looking for some local fare to have Jasmine and Michael would recommend going Belle Isle Seafood in Winthrop. The seafood is quite, and good and it's a relaxed atmosphere. It is a cash only establishment, but they have an ATM at the entrance. You can't go wrong with the fried platter, or some of the clam chowder.

Bagelsaurus

Bagelsaurus

1796 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02140

Jasmine and Michael's fondness over Bagel's is well documented, and they both emphatically recommend going to Bagelsarus off Mass Ave. Parking can be a little tricky, but it's well worth going to. Get there early before they sell out. You can't go wrong with the Classic Jumbo or Egspanola.
