We met in Chicago when life still felt a little unfinished. Nicholas was in college, balancing classes and figuring out what came next, while Matthew was already working full-time in fashion, already immersed in the creative world that would eventually shape so much of our life together. What started as an instant connection slowly became a partnership built through every version of adulthood. Over the years, Chicago became part of our story. We made homes in the South Loop, West Loop, Logan Square, and now Avondale, each neighborhood marking a different chapter of our lives together. Along the way, our little family grew with the addition of our sweet dogs, Gart and Zwei, who have been with us through every move, milestone, and late-night furniture assembly project. As the years passed, we both built careers we’re deeply proud of. Nicholas found his place in the fashion industry as a model agent, while Matthew went on to start and run his own design firm, turning his creativity and vision into a business of his own. Through all of the career changes, apartment moves, and everyday moments in between, we’ve always built our life side by side. Now, we’re excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people we love most and happy to bring together both parts of our story, Chicago and Decatur, at the historic Lincoln Theatre for a night that feels completely us.
