Mitchell and I met thanks to two determined matchmakers—my sister, Morgan, and his cousin Alexis. After their shift at work together, they had an idea that would change our lives forever. They called us separately, sharing every detail they could—ACT scores, professions, height, and personality traits—certain we were meant to be. Shortly after, Mitchell texted me, but I didn’t respond. My sister quickly called, insisting I reply. That weekend, we FaceTimed for the first time, and it just clicked. We talked every single day, getting to know each other, laughing, and sharing life. One month later, I flew to Altus, Oklahoma, to meet him in person. Seeing him for the first time felt so natural, like we’d always known each other. From then on, I caught flights whenever I could, and with every visit, we fell more in love. Our souls were destined to meet, and God had His hand in bringing us together. Life together is easy and peaceful. We are endlessly grateful for our beginning and excited for everything the future holds.
Looking back, it’s surreal how perfectly the night unfolded. I thought we were simply taking our parents to a holiday steak dinner at Houligan's in Eau Claire, followed by our annual Chris Kroeze concert tradition. What I didn’t realize was that everyone was secretly working together to plan the most incredible surprise. After rushing home from clinicals, I got ready with Mitchell, missing every sign, my sister insisting on helping with my hair, convincing me to change my nails, and everyone acting just a little too coordinated. Dinner went by without a hint of suspicion, and then we headed to the Pablo Center, stopping for photos by the Christmas tree like we had the year before. This time, there was a “free event photographer.” Still, I didn’t think twice. When it was Mitchell and my turn, he pulled me back just as I stepped away and suddenly he was down on one knee. In that moment, everything clicked. The photographer, the timing, the plan, it had all been carefully orchestrated. Surrounded by our family and glowing Christmas lights, I tearfully said yes. We spent the rest of the night taking engagement photos and celebrating at the concert, where Chris Kroeze even gave us a special shout-out and dedicated a song. What began as a simple holiday outing became the most magical night of our lives.

Matron of Honor
Morgan, my middle sister, is the strongest and most level-headed person I know. She’s the calm and peacekeeper of our family, always grounded and steady no matter what. Even though I’m the big sister, I truly look up to her for her wisdom and strength. Plus, she’s my casino-loving, nap-taking bestie, someone who knows how to work hard and relax even better. I’m so grateful to have her by my side on this special day.
Maid of Honor
Macy, my youngest sister, is the most unfiltered, genuine person I know, she always keeps it real in the best way. She went from being my annoying little sister to one of my absolute best friends, and now I can’t imagine life without her honest takes and hilarious commentary. She brings heart, humor, and so much love to everything she does, and I’m so lucky to have her standing by my side on this special day.
Bridesmaid
Alexis is Mitchell’s cousin and my best friend, one of the matchmakers who made this love story happen! In the early days, when I was overanalyzing every text and "unsure if he even liked me," she was my go-to for relationship advice and endless reassurance. She’s a built-in bestie, now officially family, and always the life of the party. I couldn’t imagine this day without her!
Bridesmaid
Erin is my medical school bestie, my faith sister, and my greatest cheerleader. She radiates positivity and kindness, and in the chaos of med school and life, she’s been my steady anchor. I’m so thankful for her constant presence and unwavering support. I’m truly blessed to have her by my side for this special day.
Bridesmaid
Jezz was my very first best friend when I started kindergarten. From playing on the playground to now bachelorette parties and adult jobs, she has truly been there through it all. She’s spontaneous, full of energy, and always ready for an adventure. Through every season of life, no matter the miles or how busy things get, our bond has stayed strong. Her infectious spirit and unwavering friendship have been such a gift, and I couldn’t imagine this special day without her right by my side.
Bridesmaid
Michaela and I grew up together, our parents have been best friends for years, so it was only natural that we became best friends too. From babies to adults, she’s like one of my younger sisters, and I couldn’t imagine my big day without her by my side. She’s beautiful, outgoing, and always full of life, making every moment together special and unforgettable.
Bridesmaid
Madi has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, not just as a friend, but truly like family. Even though we didn’t grow up in the same state, every time we were together felt like no time had passed. Though she thinks she can beat me in wrestling (she is a state champion in wrestling), she’s still one of my best friends and I wouldn’t want to do this without her.
Father of the Bride
My dad is truly a one-of-a-kind girl dad to the three of us. He did one hell of a job raising us, and honestly, I’m still amazed at how he managed to handle all the emotions, sass, and chaos we brought growing up. Through it all, he taught us to be strong, compassionate, and grounded in our faith. His unwavering love and guidance have shaped us into the women we are today, and I’m so grateful to have him by my side on this special day.
Mother of the Bride
My mom is the glue of our family, the steady presence who holds us all together with her love, strength, and quiet determination. She is truly the most selfless person I have ever met. At the drop of a hat, she would drive two hours for a Facebook Marketplace wedding find, simply because she knew it would help make our day special. Without her, we would not have the stunning décor that will surround us on our wedding day. She has always been my biggest cheerleader, my safe place, and the heart behind so many of my favorite memories. She gives endlessly, never expecting anything in return. Having her by my side on my wedding day is something I’m deeply grateful for, because nothing feels complete without her.
Best Man
My brother has always been one of the most important people in my life. From growing up side by side to navigating everything adulthood throws at us, he’s been a constant source of support, loyalty, and laughs. We’ve shared more memories than I can count, the kind that shape who you are. Our 5 year age gap was the source of many fights growing up, but now it only brings us closer. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without him. When it comes to choosing my best man, he's the obvious choice.
Groomsman
Alex and I have known each other for over 12 years and he’s more like a brother than a friend. We’ve shared countless memories, from young teenage shenanigans to endless rounds of golf. Even as life took us in different directions, our friendship only grew stronger, staying close through daily communication and picking up like no time has passed whenever I’m home. He’s the guy I can always count on to show up first and ask questions later. I’m grateful to have introduced him to Megan and to have him standing by my side for this important moment in my life.
Groomsman
I met Harry at pilot training in Columbus, MS, and we connected instantly, bonding over faith and future plans. One conversation stuck with me, he said, “Think about loving someone who doesn’t give 100% back, then imagine when you meet the one who matches your love.” Not long after, I met Megan, and I credit Harry with getting me to the right mindset that led me to her. Even after he moved to Guam, our friendship stayed strong. I’m grateful to have him standing by my side and look forward to a lifelong friendship.
Groomsman
Barrett and I met during pilot training in Columbus, MS, alongside Harry. From the start, his devotion to his wife, Ainslie, was clear, he’d step away from anything just to take her call. I eventually met Ainslie, and since then, the two of them have become an important part of Megan and I's life. Whether it's Barrett and I sharing a house together during our initial C-17 training, catching up on a flight-line abroad or Megan crashing at their home in Ohio, Barrett’s the kind of friend you can call anytime and he'll answer. I’m truly honored to have him standing by my side.
Groomsman
Lawson and I met during basic training at the Air Force Academy, where we bonded over the chaos of freshmen year. Funny enough, a lot of our early conversations were about a girl named Carly, who he’s now happily married to. Over the years, we became like brothers, especially after graduation when we lived together in his grandfather’s condo in Destin. I got to know him, Carly, and their families even better during that time, memories I’ll always be grateful for. I was proud to stand by Lawson’s side at his wedding, and I’m honored to have him by mine as I begin this new chapter with Megan.
Groomsman
Andrew is my future brother-in-law and has become a built-in friend over the years. He’s the kind of guy who shows up, no questions asked. Whether it's competitive family game nights, family vacations or just hanging out at the house, he's always been an easy guy to get along with. When I’ve been away, he’s always looked out for Megan and Arlo, cooking dinner for Megan when she was in the middle of studying and taking Arlo on endless walks. He’s solid, dependable, and just an all around good guy. You don't get to choose who your brother-in-law will be but I definitely lucked out with a guy like Andrew. Happy to have him by my side for this big day and look forward to what the rest of life will bring.
Groomsman
Brayden is Megan’s youngest sister’s boyfriend and has quickly become part of the family. Everyone knows him for his kindness and maturity. His only downfall is that he's a Bears fan. He’s the first to jump in and help, whether it’s doing arts and crafts for one of Megan's crazy ideas, whipping up some mean chocolate zucchini bread, or just being there when it counts. He's one of those young guys that are way more mature than his peers, which is why I think he's so easy to be around despite our 10 year age gap. I’m glad to have him as part of the crew and standing with us on this big day and look forward to what the future brings.
Father of the Groom and Officiant
Having my dad officiate our wedding is one of the greatest honors of the day. He’s been so much more than just a father to me, he’s been a role model, a steady guide, and the person who’s always led by example. His love, wisdom, and quiet strength have shaped who I am and what I believe a good husband should be. He’s held our family together with grace and selflessness, and having him stand with us as we start our marriage feels incredibly full-circle. There’s no one I trust more to speak into this moment and bless the beginning of our life together.
Mother of the Groom
My mom is the heart and foundation of our family. Her unwavering support and love have been a constant source of strength for me. She’s the person I turn to for encouragement, wisdom, and comfort. Growing up, her kindness and resilience taught me what it means to care deeply and stand strong through life’s challenges. I’m endlessly grateful for her presence in my life and for everything she’s done to help shape the person I am today.
Ring Bearer
Arlo isn’t just our beloved dog, he’s also the most charming member of the wedding party and our official ring bearer! He’s a big ball of fluff who thinks he’s a lap dog, even though he weighs a solid 70 pounds. Full of energy, cuddles, and endless tail wags, Arlo has a way of brightening every room he walks into. Whether he’s keeping us company on lazy afternoons or making us laugh with his silly antics, he’s truly family.
Ring Bearer
Grady is Mitchell's Godson, as well as his cousin, and an important part of our wedding day. He’s confident, kind-hearted, and full of energy, the perfect person to walk Arlo up the aisle. It’s been incredible to watch him grow into the young man he is today, and I’m proud to have him by my side as we celebrate this special moment. Together, they’re sure to make a memorable entrance!
Flower Girl
RaeLynn is Megan’s second cousin and a true ray of sunshine. Her joyful spirit, kind heart, and playful energy light up every room she walks into. Years ago, Megan’s youngest sister was a flower girl in RaeLynn’s parents’ wedding, and now the roles have beautifully come full circle. It’s only fitting that RaeLynn has a special place in this celebration. She brings so much love and warmth to our lives, and we’re honored to have her lead the way with petals and grace on such a meaningful day.
