Things To Do

Some of our favorite places in the city:

Alma Cafe

800 Louisa Street, New Orleans, LA 70117

We stop here for breakfast every time we’re in town, and one of us always make sure to order the baleadas.

Erin Rose

811 Conti Street, New Orleans, LA 70112

Dive bar with the best frozen Irish coffee. Pro tip: add a shot of Chartreuse (Dave’s choice), Rumplemintz (Brooke’s choice), or Fernet.

Muriel's Jackson Square

801 Chartres Street, New Orleans, LA 70116

Grab a cocktail and go upstairs to check out the Séance Room, then step out to their balcony overlooking Jackson Square.

City Park

New Orleans, LA

You can stroll the Sculpture Garden, rent bikes and peddle boats, grab beignets at Cafe du Monde or visit the Museum of Art.

FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the ceremony, as you will have to wait outside the chapel prior to the start.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

While there are nearby public parking lots, we recommend leaving your vehicle parked at your hotel or AirBNB and Uber or walk if close enough. If you do want to drive your own car closer, coordinate to carpool and be aware - the “Premium Parking” lots charge more than other lots.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by August 31st.
