How We Met

Our story began thanks to a little matchmaking by Elijiah’s sister, Summer. Starting in the fall of 2022, Summer and I were both working at St. Jude School. By the end of the school year, she mentioned that her brother was very musical and thought we might make a good match. That simple conversation led to our first meeting at the St. Jude Spring Concert May 4, 2023. From the moment we met, it felt easy and natural. Our mutual love for music quickly bonded us together, giving us something special to share from the very beginning. Whether it's playing, singing, or just appreciating a good song, music has been the thread that’s woven us closer ever since.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to dress in formal attire. Cocktail dresses or elegant evening wear are appropriate for the ladies, while suits or dress pants paired with a button-down shirt are suitable for the gentlemen.

While kids are welcome to witness the ceremony, the reception will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.

What happens after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures. Cocktail hour will start at the reception at 5pm. If you booked a room through our hotel block, this could be a good time to check in.
