FAQs

Question

What is a baraat?

Answer

Kevin's grand entrance! Traditionally, the groom arrives at the wedding venue in a grand procession, riding a horse, elephant or fancy car, and accompanied by music and his dancing family and friends. When the groom's procession arrives to the ceremony site, the bride's family welcomes them, a celebration uniting both families in a moment of joy and togetherness.

Question

Can I bring kids?

Answer

Children are welcome to all Friday events and the Catholic wedding ceremony on Saturday. Unfortunately, due to limited venue space, we are unable to accommodate small children at the reception on Saturday night.

Question

Is there parking at the venues?

Answer

Friday - Free parking will be available at Firestone Country Club Saturday Reception - Valet parking will be available at the Hyatt Arcade Superior Ave entrance for $25. Overnight parking is $49/night. Self-parking city garages near the Hyatt Arcade: - 200 Public Square Garage (320 Superior Ave E): ~$12 daily on weekends - 515 Euclid Avenue Garage (515 Euclid Ave): ~$10 daily on weekends, ~$22 for overnight parking

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Suits, dresses, and your favorite wedding garb! For Friday, Indian weddings are colorful and vibrant and we’d love to see you in Indian attire if you’re interested. For women, we recommend lehengas (blouses + skirts) or pre-draped saris. For men, we recommend kurtas (knee-length, collarless shirts with loose pants) or a suit and tie. Online stores for Indian attire: - www.houseofindya.com - www.utsavfashion.com - www.cbazaar.com - www.kalkifashion.com - Amazon has great options, as well.
