Georgetown is about an hour from Gray, where our ceremony will take place. While it may not be the best option for the night before the wedding, we wanted to share it with our guests as a dreamy place to stay if you’re planning to extend your visit after the celebration.

We never leave Brunswick without a trip to this cozy and delicious Indian restaurant. Our favorite thing on the menu is the aloo mutter.

Popular dessert shop serving a range of unique gelatos.
Home of Maine's oldest lighthouse, Portland Head Light.

The dress code for our wedding is festive attire. Please wear what makes you feel celebratory and comfortable. If you need more support in figuring out your outfit, please reach out! :)
We recommend checking the forecast closer to the date and bringing a light jacket or comfortable, warm clothes for the evening. There will be fire pits to warm up by, though we don't anticipate it being too chilly.
In order to stay on target for the amount of guests we have budgeted for, we are only extending plus-ones to guests who will not know anyone else at the wedding. If your invitation includes a plus-one, it will be indicated on the invitation. Thank you for your understanding!
Yes, there is ample parking available at the venue.
We will arrange for a shuttle to transport guests between Portland and the venue. The shuttle can fit 48 people and will be departing from The Hilton Garden Inn (65 Commercial Street, Portland, ME 04101) at 3:00pm. Please arrive at the pick-up point ten minutes early, as the bus will leave promptly at 3:00pm. The bus will depart from the venue at 11:00pm.
We will be providing a family-style dinner with plenty of options for our fellow vegetarians. Many of the vegetables served will be farm-to-table in the most literal sense; grown right at our venue!
We know for many of our beloved friends and family, Maine is quite a distance away. With that in mind, please do not feel pressured to spend unnecessary amounts of money traveling to attend our wedding; we would love to plan other ways to celebrate with you if attending our ceremony is unfeasible for any number of reasons. We understand it is a financial and physical commitment to make it to Maine. The last thing we want is for the people we love to stretch themselves thin for us. We love you just the same.
Please take a COVID-19 test 48 hours before your first wedding event (Welcome Event or Ceremony). If you're having a hard time securing a test due to financial constraints, many major cities give them out for free. Our hope is that an outdoor, summer wedding will reduce risk, but please feel free to do what feels best for you.
Please be mindful of using gendered language at the wedding, as some of our friends, including Bridget, use they/them pronouns. We understand that this may be new to some of you. However, we kindly ask that you make every effort to use Bridget's pronouns correctly. Being misgendered is a disheartening and lonely experience, ill-fit for a wedding. If gender-neutral pronouns are unfamiliar to you, we encourage you to practice using them. Thank you for your understanding and support!
