Sofie hails from St. Louis, MO, and Brett from San Francisco. They were lucky enough to meet through a mutual friend on a hike in 2018, and became friends thereafter. In 2023, after living in other places, they both moved back to San Francisco at the same time. The stars aligned and they fell in love! Brett proposed to Sofie in May 2025, where they first met on that hike, at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. They currently reside on the northwest side of SF, with Golden Gate Park and Ocean Beach a few steps away. They are so excited to celebrate their engagement with you all!
