How we met
We met in high school at Laney, in parenting class. After the first week, the class got very comfortable and we were all pretty loud so the teacher had to switch us around. She sat us right beside each other as assigned seats for the rest of the semester. Funny enough, we did not say one word to each other. We even had a project we had to present together. Not even that pushed us to talk. It wasn't until two years later, when things with covid had us all worrying for our lives, that we started talking and getting to know each other better. We went from video calls, talking about that class and life, to meeting each other’s parents. We spent the rest of high school together, watched each other graduate, watched each other get our first jobs, and we can't wait for many more firsts and many more accomplishments together.
Como nos conocimos
Nos conocimos en la escuela secundaria de Laney, en la clase de aprendizaje paternal. Ninguno de los dos escogió esa clase, por casualidad era la única que quedaba disponible para el resto del primer semestre. Después de la primera semana, la clase se volvió muy cómoda y todos éramos bastante ruidosos, por lo que la maestra tuvo que cambiarnos de lugar. Nos sentó juntos como asientos asignados por el resto del semestre. Curiosamente, no nos dijimos ni una palabra. Incluso teníamos un proyecto que presentar, pero ni eso nos impulsó a hablar entre nosotros. No fue hasta dos años después, cuando las cosas con el covid nos tenían a todos preocupándonos por nuestras vidas, que empezamos a hablar y a conocernos mejor. Pasamos de las videollamadas y de hablar sobre esa clase y la vida, a conocer a los padres de cada uno. Pasamos el resto de la escuela secundaria juntos, nos vimos graduar, nos vimos conseguir nuestros primeros trabajos y no podemos esperar estar juntos por muchos logros mas.

Answer
Since each seat is by RSVP we ask that unless previously spoken to, there are no plus-ones. Dado que cada asiento se confirma mediante confirmación de asistencia, solicitamos que, a menos que se haya hablado previamente, no haya personas adicionales.

Answer
We will have a designated babysitter at one of our homes for children under 5 for the parents that wish to come but also have little ones. Children over 5 years of age are welcome. While this is a family friendly event, we would like to make it very clear that we expect all parents to watch after their children, especially during the ceremony, speeches and main dances. Tendremos una niñera designada en una de nuestras casas para niños menores de 5 años para los padres que deseen venir pero que también tengan pequeños. Son bienvenidos niños mayores de 5 años. Aunque es un evento familiar, nos gustaría dejar muy claro que esperamos que todos los padres cuiden a sus hijos, especialmente durante la ceremonia, los discursos y los bailes principales.

As a Christian couple we have set our boundaries regarding our wedding and there will be no alcohol given out. Como pareja Cristiana, hemos establecido nuestros límites con respecto a nuestra boda y no se entregará alcohol.

- Yes! The hotel is connected to the Wilmington Convention Center parking deck. Those staying at the Hotel may self-park for $16 or valet for $22 per night. Those attendees parking just for the wedding may self-park for $5 or valet for $10. - - ¡Sí! El hotel está conectado con el estacionamiento del Centro de Convenciones de Wilmington.
