John and I had met on an online dating site OkCupid.com. We had chatted for a bit and finally decided to go to Famous Daves BBQ for our first date. He noticed that my shoulders and neck were tense so before we left John came to sit by me. He began to gently massage my neck and shoulders to get rid of the built-up tension. He bought the dinner and we began to leave. Before all was said and done, he walked me to my car and gave me the best hug of my life. It was like a sign that we were to fall in love and become one because of how I fit into his arms. That would end up being my Last first date. Engagement March 30, 2019 Oh, what a day! John had made appointments, for both, of us, to get (extremely nice) pedicures, and for me to get a manicure at Manitoes (so my ring finger would be pretty). I had an idea that this day would end, in a long-awaited marriage proposal. Then he took me, to the Melting Pot, for a 4-course dinner. We had cheese fondue, salads, beef/chicken/cheesy ravioli/steak entrees, and chocolate fondue for dessert. He got down, on one knee, and proposed, during dessert. I couldn't have asked for a better day. Of course, I said yes! The rest is history until we continue our love story with a wedding.
